Madami parin kasi ang ngmamarket dito sa atin tapos sasabihin "True rated" pero there is no such thing as that kahit sa international market ng tpos pag check mo naman generic or worse fake. Kaya wag tipirin ang power supply kung balak magbuild. Gaya nga ng sabi ni Sir Bermor kapag ang PSU bumigay maaring madamay ang buong system na pinaghirapan mong buoin.

PSA: NEVER skimp out on the power supply, to the point na mas okay na bumili ng used na reputable brand kaysa off-brand na kahit brand new pa. Although brand new na reputable brand is most recommended kasi alam mong ikaw ang first owner paglabas ng PSU sa factory, I'd rather recommend something na used(better if confident ka na hindi siya nagamit on extreme applications na continuous usage) than to buy something off-brand, kasi something relatively old and used but good has all the reasons and ways to stay good. *BUILT CHEAP = ALWAYS CHEAP* ALSO it's better to go overkill sa power supply, since hindi mo na aalalahanin mag-upgrade ng power supply for around 3-5 years, maybe around 7-10 if you're lucky. Remember na kahit gaano kalakas ang iba mong parts, damay 'yan 'pag masira ang psu

Don't lowball your build. You decide to build a gaming rig, never compromise parts from CPU to PSU. If meron mang pwede mong ma consider para maka cheap ka, casing lang ata maiisip mo like Rakk's budget cases.
There are certain PSU models that are not listed in that website though like Corsair CV450, I can't really rely on that website as reference for buying PSU although brands can be trusted but not just the website mentioned here
pero yung mga ibang known brand ngayon yung mga affordable PSU nila almost the same na rin yung mga gamit nilang mga parts kagaya narin ng mga nasa inplay na PSU kahit buksan niyo man kasi yung mga suppliers ng mga parts niyan sa china rin nila kinukuha kung baga brand nalang pinagkakaiba...yung mga known brand na may mataas na rate at syempre mataas na price ang katiwatiwala lang pero yung mga nasa 1k na rated white or bronze kahit known brand pa yan maganda lang sa mga unit na naka built in GPU lang.
This video is a much needed reminder for PC enthusiasts like us about PSUs. Always give more than enough allowance/headroom in wattage capacity when buying PSUs or we'll buy twice or our expansion/upgrade capabilities will be limited/hampered. Modular PSUs look good and convenient but take extra care in ensuring connections are snug and don't mix and match cables from other manufacturers. Aesthetics aside, I still use non-modular ones. Nothing beats straight wire runs for safety coz any "break/junction" in a circuit is a potential source of failure. Place support like cable/velcro ties on wires and even on sata/data cables. Put some slack/space and don't apply too much pressure on those connectors (power or data).

When it comes to electronics, I always buy the more expensive and more known ones. I'm using a Seasonic Focus+ 850 Gold PSU and never pa ako ngkaproblem, even sa previous computers ko na nabenta ko na, Seasonic din ang gamit or recommended ko sa mga friends ko who are asking me about which PSU or component they should be buying. Choosing the right PSU can definitely help protect your PC, a hard-earned PC for some of us. Once na fake ung binili mo, you're putting your PC, your life and maybe love ones, property and kahit kapitbahay mo to jeopardy. Sabi nga nila, prevention is better than cure.

As an example, nirecall dati ng Samsung ang kanilang Galaxy Note 7 kasi ito ay may issue sa battery na sumasabog. Kahit paman malalaki at well known brands . Kahit sa automotive industry meron din katulad nalang ng Mitsubishi Montero na may sudden unintended acceleration issue na madalas naibalita noon.

curently using Acepower fp650 semi-modular.. wala sa clearesult ung ACEPOWER but according kay google under xa ng Frontier Technology Inc. ni-search q ung model nya n fp650, and manufacturer nya ay frontier. :)
ok nmn yung Inplay basta low end lng yung sa anak ng kuya ko since 2019 pa yun gumagana pa nmn nka 1050ti lng videocard.. meron din well known na nasisira agad sometimes minamalas like vs650 ko dati at coolermaster which only lasted for 1 year and a half. na hassle na rin ako magpa warranty yung goods na goods nag last sakin since 2015 pa till now ginagamit ko pa kahit bronze lng ay Seasonic
TAKE NOTE: "80+ Certification is only for efficiency certification and not quality rating". It is PARTIALLY TRUE na pag mataas ang 80+ rating like Gold, Platinum, and Titanium it means high quality ang electrical components inside iba pa ang certification for the electrical protections or safety tulad ng cTUVus, TUV, CB, CCC, BSMI, EAC, CE. If you really look at the PSU tier list may mga low priority units or medyo iiwasan kahit 80+ certified, dahil sa real world scenarios nila like load handling tulad ng mga load spikes at stability pag ginagamit sa mga high end unit. Misinformed pa rin mga tao na akala nila basta 80+ certified ok na. Always remember "80+ certification is only for efficiency certification and not quality rating". Maganda mag-rely sa mga PSU tier list dahil mga PSU testers talaga ang mga nag-veverify ng component quality kahit 80+ certified sya.

All of the listed 80+ Certified PSU can still have problems because the electrical components has different real world usage. And 80+ Certification is an efficiency certification only and not a quality and safety certification.

Yung Corsair VS450w ko 2018 pa today lang bumigay, 5years din inabot. Planning of replacing it with FSP HV Pro. Yung 5 years warranty ni FSP ang deal breaker compared sa 1year ng iba
very informative ito maraming salamat, been using FSP Hexa 450W PSU since 2015, from rx550/AMD A4 parts into Ryzen 5 4500/GTX 1050TI till now ok na okay pa din tlga sya. kaya sa mga bibili ng PSU dyan wag kayo mag tipid kasi for sure kung maayos naman ang pag gamit nyo sa mga true rated PSU sobrang worth it mag invest dyan..
buy once, cry once yung mantra ko when it comes to PSUs. recently, kinuha ko yung Corsair RM750e from ITW. 80+ Gold AND Cybernetics Platinum rated na. sure, it cost me 8k halos pero alam mong tatagal and makakailang builds ka gamit yun. usually sinusuggest ko for PSUs is from three brands lang talaga. Silverstone, Corsair and Seasonic.
Hi guys can anyone please help me ? im currently using dell xps 15 7950 and I cant use my GPU 1650, its not showing when I try to put my games to performance mode on graphic settings. All my drivers are up to date and when checking the device manager its says its working properly but when I restart its error 43. Ive been fixing this since yesterday nothing works for me I search everything on the internet. Hope someone can help me. Thank you
@@misot90 actually it worked a while but when i restarted it it comes back again not only that but now it cant be detected when i try to use it for performance mode on graphic settings. Its also not showing on task manager but it says okay on device manager.
@@kuysaly That sounds suspiciously like a Driver issue. Have you tried an older version of your GPU driver to see if it persists? Because some newer drivers have issues with specific cards. Just make sure to use DDU when you try a fresh install. Sometimes errors are from that. I had issues like that once, but it was gone when I used DDU.

im using superflower leadex II for almost 1year , Tier D psu on my rtx 2060 & r5 3600 pero comfortable naman ako walang problema sa pc ko as of now bukod sa gumagamit sobrang lag ng kamay hahaha. and plan to upgrade to rtx 2080 or 3060 this coming december using this psu again

Mejo naging unreliable na kasi ang 80Plus dahil kailangan lang mareach yung 80% efficiency ng power output and pay the license for the sticker para masabing 80Plus certified. Walang mention sa 80Plus yung reliability and build quality ng products.

Sir, pag ung Switch hindi na ma off naka on lng. Sira/Defective na ba ang PSU? Delikado na po ba ito? Intelligent Awake 80+ Bronze to sir, now ko lang nakita hindi siya certified sa website... Ilang weeks po sumunod ung AVR Switch ko same nangyari. Tapos ung 4months old 1660 ti ko sir bigla nalang nasira black screen. Ano po kaya cause ng pagka-sira ng GPU ko? MLLSE po ung GPU ko.

9:10 afaik irerebrand lng po yung Pentium and Celeron processors as "Intel Processor" sir pero continued pa rin ang production for next generations.
Common mistake to build pc is to "cheap-out PSU". It is your foundation for upgrade and stability so buy a very good brand.

2 corsair vs650 ko hindi nag 1 year nagtaka ako kasi sikat eh. pati sa mga group dami pala same situation sa akin.

Isa ako sa nabudol sa Inplay brand 700w 1 month lang, mas tumagal pa saken yung 700w na electron na china brand

It is PARTIALLY TRUE na pag mataas ang 80+ rating like Gold, Platinum, and Titanium it means high quality ang electrical components inside iba pa ang certification for the electrical protections or safety tulad ng cTUVus, TUV, CB, CCC, BSMI, EAC, CE. If you really look at the PSU tier list may mga low priority units or medyo iiwasan kahit 80+ certified, dahil sa real world scenarios nila like load handling tulad ng mga load spikes at stability pag ginagamit sa mga high end unit. Misinformed pa rin mga tao na akala nila basta 80+ certified ok na. Always remember "80+ certification is only for efficiency certification and not quality rating".
Maganda mag-rely sa mga PSU tier list dahil mga PSU testers talaga ang mga nag-veverify ng component quality kahit 80+ certified sya.

@@retrotechpinas3640 Obviously yes, but not all 80+ Certified have good quality and can still be considered some in low priority units. Check PSU cultists tier list. All of the listed 80+ Certified PSU can still have problems because the electrical components has different real world usage. And 80+ Certification is an efficiency certification only and not a quality and safety certification.

usually sinusuggest ko for PSUs is from three brands lang talaga. Silverstone, Corsair and Seasonic.

All my drivers are up to date and when checking the device manager its says its working properly but when I restart its error 43. Ive been fixing this since yesterday nothing works for me I search everything on the internet. Hope someone can help me. Thank you

@@kuysaly That sounds suspiciously like a Driver issue. Have you tried an older version of your GPU driver to see if it persists? Because some newer drivers have issues with specific cards.
Just make sure to use DDU when you try a fresh install. Sometimes errors are from that. I had issues like that once, but it was gone when I used DDU.
