Best time to invest? thats funny though because in the last four months I have lost more than $47,900 in stock market which is the biggest I have loss since I ventured into stock investment.

There is no "time to buy". there's only ever undervalued companies worth investing in, or fully/ over valued companies that you wouldn't invest in.
Well now you 're speaking like an investor. That is NOT what makes news. You should know that. This 'noise" is amazing for 'us' long-term buy and hold investors as it just adds volatility.
I’d rather buy something that has strong fundamentals that is down 30%, I look for good deals. I don’t follow the crowd. If it’s a good deal after looking at guidance and earnings, then I buy.
But if everyone else disagrees with you, the stock doesn’t go up.
You need to be first, but you need to be first amongst the crowd.
The guy at the end is right! I focused on the fundamentals last year and was waiting for tech and the meme stocks to crash. I'm up HUGE this year.

He is, but you'd also better pick well, and most people can't do that consistently and the environment is very unpredictable right now. I'm just continuing to dollar cost avg on VFIAX and otherwise in cash.

Jim is kinda right... my portfolio mainly consists of nvidia, microsoft, crowdstrike and enphase and yes im down +/-15% altogether, but i don't understand how people are down 60 or 70%?!?
Those are the high growth and speculative stocks which for the past 6months every contributor on this show has been saying not to touch! (eg. palantir, rivian, draftkings, hood etc. )
SQ,PYPL and FB where bad for me but having AAPL,GOOG,MSFT and LMT have given me balance.
Yeah Palantir is getting unfairly clumped in with those other stocks.

you should also have some stocks like UNH SHW TGT UNP BAC etc in your heavier names to mitigate loss in times like these

Nobody looks at the BIG picture so here it is on Value vs, tech. The 10 yr return on VTV (value) with a $10k investment in 2012 till now is $35k. The 10yr return from VGT (tech) with the same $10k investment is $73k! Tech is still beating value. You can't look at a year or two of data!
At the end of the day, its all about what fed is gonna do and the 10, 30 year treasury yield. Fed will want the stock market to go down a little bit further to reduce inflation, but not excessively of course. A lot of interest rate hikes to come I think

Relax. The lows are holding and aren't even in play. Retail investors have notable advantages from these panicking pros who are dealing with redemption, aka getting fired.
It is a stock pickers market and buying strong balance sheet growth companies with real YoY sales growth is rarely ever a bad idea. Stay away from the value stock pump-n-dump around the reopening narrative. It should be clear that growth is slowing in the boarder global economy.

What the heck that guy is telling. Buy the dip means buy when there is a dip. Buy after jump 10 percent after report earnings is not buy the dip, it is just opposite, it is buy the hype. Buy the dip means when sp500 down 10 percent, buy, down 20 percent, buy, down 30 percent buy. Now only down 10 percent, but this is how people buy the dip.
