We enjoyed the entertainment on board especially the live music! Thought that was 10 out of 10. But found the food was very, very average. Especially dinner in the main dining room. Brunch was good but that was it. However Fahrenheit specialty dining was fantastic. We thought the ship was fun but would not like to be on there more than 7-10 days. Definitely not pool people thank goodness as on our cruise in late January even a sardine would have had a issue getting into the adults only pool! But, we were surprised with the ship. It had a definite fun feel about it! Would we go back? Yes if the price was right and itinerary was spot on!
Yes, the singers and bands were fantastic! We agree, the food on the cruise was average compared to other ships. I think it lacks in presentation and feel the menu is more catered towards Americans. It would have been nice to have more steamed vegetable sides rather than the boiled frozen veges. But in saying that, the eating areas are plentiful and stay open a lot longer than other ships. They also don't charge for their pizza, burger bars and ice cream like P&O does. The service from the staff in all areas of the ship was a 10/10. Best times to swim are during breaky, lunch or dinner.... less people! :D Thanks for sharing your experience. :D
Vanuatu is not cheaper anymore, the duty free shop has been sold and remodeled and prices are dearer then Dan murphy's. We were on carnival splendour and were shocked at the prices in Vanuatu but the up side was the ship prices were like they used to be in Vanuatu.
Oh, that's strange. We've always shopped at Fung Kuei Duty Free and this month I know 2x 1 litre bottles of Absolut Vodka were AUD $46. (They used to be cheaper!) The ship prices were good too, I think 2 bottles were only $10 more = $56 on board. Hopefully they don't put their prices up!

@@alandeb we are used to Celebrity so having to pay for food except specialty dining is unheard of. I guess we have been spoilt!

Not yet. We have been on P&O, Princess, Carnival, NCL and an old Russian Ship called the Alexander Pushkin way back in the day! 😀

No, you only show your passport before you embark on your cruise. Sometimes you can take it to the information centre and ask for a stamp though.
Do they sell any teddies in the stores
No, I didn’t see any. But to be honest I never looked for one either.
