Interesting, I'll keep this in mind when it's time to change the belt i doubt it gave you any power but it's nice to delete something that's not needed
You gotta do all the pulleys to get the effect. Crank( TO A LIGHT WEIGHT) should be the main one you make the effort to change. delete AC, POWER STEERING pulley change out or delete that too.
the lightweight crank pully will free up more hp than just idler pulley deletes but it will also introduce more wear on your bearings which is not what most people want. But yes, with all the lightweight pulley you will definitely feel a power gain.
@trumpetvq4453 that's what I did when my pulley started to go bad, I got the spacer from my job for free and bought the 08 fx35 belt and it worked perfectly, and it's the exact same belt mentioned in the video with the exact same part number
You will not see any noticable power . Low single digit at most, not enough to feel it. That's why I didn't go through the effort. It's just an idler pulley with no load. Now....yank that AC compressor which has a big load on it out of the car you'll get a nice lil bump.
You can also cut the corner off of the bracket that you’re removing and not have to pay for a spacer. Just make a spacer from the piece that you are removing. Worked perfectly on my ‘04 coupe.
Awesome video brother absolutely doing this mod good work my friend.
That's a pretty awesome mod ,will free up some resistance, and looks tidier

yes the gain will be small but it does add up eventually.

If you do this mod you can go off of the belt part number or get an 08 fx35 belt
I'm not 100% sure but i felt like i've seen people done that before and shared on forum

False information here. I'd quit posting if this is what you're commenting.
