Awesome video. Super valuable info. what if (or rather, when...) We run into an obvious scam or fake site, is there someway to pass on that experience to other users, or to the management of the Flippa website in order to prevent future potential victims. Thanks again looking forward to learning more with you.

My husband thinks people can adjust their merchant accounts to look profitable when they are not. I know people can adjust their Shopify sales numbers for videos etc but would that crossover to the merchant account? Or how would I verify the accounting is accurate
To verify accuracy you need to get access to their merchant account or shopify store (as a viewer). Or you can even get access to their accounting software, or have an accountant check the numbers too.
Hi, really a great video especially for a beginner like me. I was wondering why you are saying a business under 10K is not worth it. I was considering buying a small drop shipping business for 2K. Also, are there websites more suitable for newcomers ? Thanks again for the great video, Cheers !
Under $10K is a start up and 90% of start ups fail. You don't get much for $2k, you'd be basically buying the website with no marketing channel or audience
I have been watching your videos and learning a TON. But, as a first time business buyer, I am still scared to pull the trigger. So, my question is do you provide, or know of someone who provides a consultation service to assist someone throughout their own buying process?
Yea of course, I have helped hundreds of people to buy online businesses. Check out my website buyingonlinebusinesses.com/ and email me if you have any questions at all :)
I've been looking at listings for a year and still can't pick the right business for me. Also I don't trust sellers that are not in north america. Like the UAE for example .... If i send them money will they run away with it ?😢
If you don't have someone helping you then yes get help first or work with someone to help you. Or go on to Google and type in 'website brokers' there are many brokers you can use.
@@j.s.313 That depends on how much capital you have and what your risk tolerance is. It really does depend on many things but I wouldn't suggest buying anything under $10K, the limit well some peoples limits would be $20K some would be $2M

Great question, first you need to do DD on them to see if they are good or bad investments (some are some aren't) and then you can decide. Everyone has different preferences on business models, I think these are pretty hands off businesses if you have good marketing in place already

There are other marketplaces (flippa can be tough) and I agree it's not easy to find the best deal. But when have you ever easily found a really good investment without any work, time and effort prior? Unless of course you have a network, brand and deal flow...
Begginers should definitely watch this video so that they will - Have good knowledge to pickup or choose a good business (diamond in rough:)

Thanks :)
great info. I am still looking and learning! keep up the great work.

Awesome! Love the format! Please do these again in the future.
Thanks for the feedback, any other marketplaces you think it would be valuable to do another of these on?

The reason you fear this is because you don't know how to buy a business safely where those risks don't exist. I help people with this :)
You mentioned that you do not recommend buying sites on Flippa, is there something else you do recommend?
