    My local Soquet coaster is a classic family ride with a lift hill, but I like it because there’s a similar stupidly intense and fun moment: there’s some kind of flat unbanked turnaround transitioning into the first drop right after the lift, and because the train is long you get pulled through it in the back row and get some wicked laterals. It feels like you’re violently pinned to the side of the car. I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: peak French engineering 🗿🇫🇷

      Soquet has made some weird rides.

    Thanks a lot for giving the different metrics - feet as opposed to meters, or MPH and KPH. I can only imagine what it must feel like to ride these different coasters, and since I live in Germany it helps me tremendously to get both kinds of stats. Please keep up the good work!!

    We had this experience too. It was a real surprise and no one wanted to believe us haha 😄

      It's shockingly strong for that one hill.

    My 1st coaster ever, I remember being scared and crying after the drop in the tunnel, no one would've believed that 20 years later I'd become an thoosie 😂
    But jokes away, rode it again last April, 1 week before Toutatis, and yes I was surprised by the exit of the tunnel, but no god no, you can't say that its stronger than Toutatis

      The Toutatis camelback is the best airtime hill in France. But this hill is 2nd. You get an ejector pop with a buzz bar.

      Great airtime hill for sure but I can't wait to try that crazy one on Batman Gotham City Escape! I think that will by far beat it!@@CanobieCoaster

    Devil's Mine at Fort Fun Germany. Mostly a tame family Coaster, but the first drop has insane airtime in the last row 😄

      I've heard that ride is sneaky good.

    This coaster was closed on my visit, and the sign saying it was “Closed today” looked like a permanent sign that had been in place for years.

    Theres another coaster at parc bagatelle in france built by soquet called le gaz express wich has a really strong and surprising pop of airtime in the back of the first drop wich sounds like it could rival this one.

      Wow! Hopefully I can visit that park one day.

    What is the worst wisdom rides coaster you have ridden? For me it’s the bayou lagoon that travels in Michigan, i got multiple cuts on my legs from the sharp fiberglass on the train

      Tiger Express at the Washington State Fair. Many laps and very uncomfortable.

    I know it’s not quite the content you usually post, but out of curiosity, do you think you’ll make a vid or comment on yr thoughts of six flags and cedar fair now that they confirmed it? No worries if not of course, but I wld be interested in yr views on it and I think yr other subscribers wld too! Regardless I bet you’ll get questions abt it if you do another q&a lol. And I also thought that a combined pass for all parks wld be great for yr kinda content too!

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't plan to make a video on it since many channels have covered it extensively. I hope it's a positive, but I'm interested what happens from a pricing, investment, and operational standpoint.

    Is there a list of coasters with suprising moments?

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That would be a good list to make.

    How do you feel about the Six Flags-Cedar Fair merger? (cedar flags name aged so well here)

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure how I feel. It could be good or it could be bad. I hope the parks continue to invest and take the best of each chain.

    I’ll take your word for it because it looks tame even in the POV.

      It's just the tunnel exit that is insane. Most of the ride is tame.

    I am always thinking of ways to enhance that fun so the experience becomes physically mentally financially spiritually beneficial and rewarding. Example the roller coasters should include some kind of test to see how well a person may keep their composure under high intensity excitement. Like being able to write your name and address before the ride ends. I think would be a fun way to test one's eye hand coordination similar to astronauts and jet fighters. Equally as true all roller coasters today should automatically have an electronic system that is constantly scanning the track for weakness fractures rust and corrosion. And with today's technologies should be no problem to upgrade any and all other roller coasters which will maximize on safety so people may have extreme fun on every ride

    Toutatis exists.

    • @Sauci55on
      @Sauci55on ปีที่แล้ว

      There’s a lot of quick airtime pops on good ol’ tatis but most of them aren’t extremely powerful, even the big camelback or the hill on the launch .

    • @JoshB333
      @JoshB333 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Sauci55on im not going to believe a kids powered coaster has better airtime than a new gen intamin. Im sorry but absolutely not.

    • @Sauci55on
      @Sauci55on ปีที่แล้ว

      Can’t say it til you ride it. Tbh, the restraint might play a big part in this. As CC mentioned, the restraints on Soquet coasters are very freeing, unlike the Intamin lap bars, so you might actually feel the airtime more even if it’s not as powerful. But as I said, apart from the camelback and the hill on the launch track,wich both have the most sustained and powerful airtime of the whole ride,most airtime pops on Toutatis aren’t actually extreme.

    Kiddie Coasters and small family coasters like this are pretty ridiculous
