    Great Video! Little trick easier to cut old lines and put a socket over the hose fitting nuts when removing.

      and it was the hi-side line. 'Stop-Leak' would not have helped that situation.

    How nice that your car problems are so negligible that you get stuck on semantics. Really, fix vs replacing. So, wish my car problems were a matter of vocabulary. good video, gave me good start and some knowledge on what to do.

    I got quoted for $300 to replace a leaking hose , because it would take 3 hours . just wondering how long it took you to complete the job

    • @OzMechanics
      @OzMechanics  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Taalibah Walker some hoses are really hard to get to. One took me around 3-4 hours. Just depends where the hoses are located

    After you turned on the car, were you turning the steering wheel that caused the leak you showed or will it leak like that without turning the wheel?

    Hey question, how did you determine the hose was the issue? Did you see a hole or tear in the hose or did you do a pressure test? Thanks I’m just trying to figure out my power steering leak.

    • @OzMechanics
      @OzMechanics  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jeremy L on this one customer complained of a noise and said after putting more power steering fluid it went away

    • @JLE1177
      @JLE1177 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oz Mechanics those are my issues too, I’m dumping in a 32 oz bottle ev. 3 days. I’ve been told it could be the pump or rack but from what u are saying, it’s a leak for sure? Cause if I knew it was a leak by what your saying, that would be awesome and I could buy the hose and replace it today as apposed to taking it to the shop and paying for advice, I’m just strapped on cash right now. (I know it’s almost impossible know my problem without looking at my car but u sound like u know what u are talking about and in this case maybe it is possible to determine the problem based on symptoms.

    • @OzMechanics
      @OzMechanics  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Jeremy L yea as what you’re saying it for sure it’s a leak. I just can’t guarantee where it is leaking from. If you want to verify where it is coming from get so uv due for the steering system. Check out my video how to find oil leak
