Just picked one up. Something to note for the new guys. Make sure the grinding wheel is centered when you tighten the bolt onto it. Mine was slightly off center and I didn't notice. Didn't get a good bite and the grinder came flyin off straight down. Luckily I was being cautious and it came down with nothin bad happening.

Just FYI .. Ryobi indicates you should NOT be using a Type 1 cut off wheel like the Diablo shown here. It's a safety hazard and Ryobi specifically indicated only to use the Type 27 center depressed similar to the one that comes with the grinder.

When I had to take the bars off my house, I simply ground the head off the anchor (which you could have done with the Ryobi provided grinding wheel) and the bars popped right off. Not sure why you felt the need to cut the mounting tabs off to remove the bars. That ruined the bars and you probably still ground the tabs off the wall. And you used an un-safe blade to do it while also damaging the brick facade. This was a demonstration of how not to do it.

Helpppp 😂 I bought a 4” diamond blade which is much thinner and I definitely installed it all wrong. The blade like fell off while I was using it. I’m cutting tile. Now I have 3 pieces. Junk...........the corded version is 10x better simply for one reason. You can rotate the handle. Try cutting stones, bricks, pavers with the cordless version for 20 minutes. You'll feel like you have a broken wrist from holding your wrist sideways. Not an issue with the corded version. Very disappointing they chose to do this with the cordless version.

Hello Bigwill080 will, I did purchase this RYOBI P-421 grinder recently and it says in the safety section (pages 3 & 7 - English) NEVER attach a Type 1 straight grinding wheel and absolutely never use a cut off wheel of any type. This is a low speed unit and is only to be used for grinding (with a type 27 grinding wheel), sanding, wire brush wheel or for polishing. Please read the manual so you can be operating it safely. Angle grinders are very dangerous and protection equipment should always be worn when using this tool. Download the manual if you don't have it, I beg you, read it all.
