Most likely. I will say that black jack, Anderson bean, and rios, should have wood pegs. They may just be grinded/sanded down or covered so they aren’t noticeable.
Sometimes that’s necessary but in this case, new soles would be much better. After I’m done with them, they’ll have better soles that will last much longer than factory.

So if you can't see the peg on the inside of the boot like in a Black Jack, Anderson Bean, Rios of Mercedes, etc... it's likely just for show?
