This is what live John Mayer music is all about. The joy, the tears, the quality, the unbelievable ability , the voice, the effort, the lyrics, the professionalism, the personality , the charisma and how in awe you end up being in. The sheer class of the man is phenomenal.
Belief is another song that is great in the studio, but live is on a whole different level. Belief, Slow Dancing in a Burning Room, and I don't Trust Myself with Loving You are his ultimate live anthems.
@@notapplicableproductions6504 I like to believe it accomplished exactly what it needs to do. Sure I see where you’re coming from, it’s not absurdly complex, but what it does is give John an immense potential to solo over, and solo differently each time it’s played live. It even lends itself nicely to the whole band to experiment on, especially percussion.

A triple play! Beautiful music, played by beautiful people, with a beautiful backdrop. John’s aesthetics are the best for all of his concerts. Pretty, pretty, pretty. That’s why he is forever the Man and the King❣️💎👑

I was at this show that night. It was truly breathtaking. I cried, sang along, and rocked out! So many memories I have with his music. Truly the soundtrack to my life the past 6 years. Great video btw, many thanks that I get to relive it again💖

Incredible show! I love how threatening they made Vultures sound with that different bass line vibe. They clearly took each song they've been playing together for years and approached it from a slightly different angle. Keeps it spicy for them, and especially us.
OH EMM GEEE YOU ARE MY HERO! Best camera skills ever, so steady and great composition. I wish i could of made it to the concert but gravity kept bringing me down. My dog ate hot Cheetos hours before and got so sick and made my front room into a “burning room”. So glad you recorded it!

Zoraver Singh that’s awesome!!! He’s played it everywhere else but LA! Lol but he played “covered in rain” on Friday night! It was amazing!!! I couldn’t believe it!
Holy crap can yo uh believe it? It took me almost an hour to get in to over flow and then he walk through that dusty field. Thank goodness he didn't start until 8:15
All physical things in this world break and end. Sad. The neck warping just messed it up. The replacement neck just wasn’t the same. I loved that guitars sound too. Not happy with PRS but it’s still better than a Les Paul Lol.
Eh, don't believe I or most people would've noticed if he used the SS or PRS anyway. The PRS headstock may look weird to lots of people but if you listen (and there's a video on TH-cam of this), it sounds just like a vintage 60s strat.

This. Exactly. When I heard it from the record, I didn't bat an eye. When I watched him perform it live, a tear dropped from my eye
As much as I love the song, I feel like changing is a bit lazily written, especially with the predictable chords in the chorus...

You and me both brother. My wife (newer JM fan) was looking at me like, "WTH is going on??" as I completely lost it after the intermission.
Andrew yea I was at this show too! And I saw it pop up on screen and yelled so loud
I'd love to know when it occurred to people that he was just playing the entire album... must have been at gravity right?
oh yeah... it was definitely gravity
It occured to me at the end of the intermission when they flashed "Continuum" up on the screen and we all went nuts.
