I replaced the driveshafts as the cv joints were worn out and it was better to fit in brand new driveshafts as they would last longer.

Do you have to go anywhere near the gearbox when doing this

Hi there, Alison yes there is 6 bolts that hold the driveshaft in, that connect onto the coupling i managed to use a extension to get to the bolts but to make life easier it would be better taking off the bottom engine cover😁
