BMW sweetens the deal by including three years of free 30-minute charging sessions at Electrify America stations with every new i7. Inside, the i7 inherits the spacious and luxurious ambiance of the gasoline-powered 7 series. High-tech features abound, with an optional Executive Lounge package providing power-adjustable reclining seats, a wireless smartphone charging pad, and extra-plush headrests for rear-seat passengers. The trunk space is ample, complemented by a handy rear-seat pass-through feature for longer items. The infotainment system showcases a digital dashboard borrowed from the iX SUV, featuring large floating digital gauges and infotainment displays. The available rear-seat entertainment system, with a 31.3-inch screen dropping from the ceiling, adds a touch of indulgence, offering access to streaming services via the car's 5G cellular connection. Safety features are robust, with standard automated emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist. Advanced driver-assistance options include a hands-free driving mode for highways and a parking assistant system accessible through a smartphone app.
