Rollbacks are cool. It feels like your back's going to go thru the high seatback. But it's very smooth. It doesn't always make it to the top. It does make you wish that was the ride.
I heard the automated computer that pulls the train puts a little less power than its saposed too but mostly it is due to quick change in wind the computer doesn’t account for it
in fact, every launch is a bit different. (we're talking hydraulics here, LSM don't roll back, only if the power goes out partway through ^^) The ride system calculates the correct launch speed based on sensor data of the last 5 launches. Wind, humidity, weight of the train and temperature all are taken into account.
@@PrideCoasterClub I will be there hopefully next week for Millennium Force since I fit the safety belt last year on my birthday with assistance, same thing on Top Thrill Dragster, had to pull the safety belt very hard to latch.
To further elaborate: There are two sets of very powerful magnetic brake sections on the ride. One after the top hat to slow down the ride at the end and another along the launch section of the track in case of rollbacks. The ones along the launch section are lowered during the launch but revert to their default position as soon as the train clears overhead. Due to the hydraulic system that pulls the brakes on this section of track down if power were to suddenly cut out they would automatically move to their default position. This along with the fact that the magnetic brakes rely on magnetic forces- not electricity- means that even in the event of a power failure mid-ride the brakes will never fail to slow down the train. There's a very interesting video that details how the entire ride works from the launch system to the brakes! The amount of engineering that goes into making these rides safe is pretty incredible!
I made a mistake: It's not a hydraulic system that lowers the brakes but a series of pneumatic cylinders with springs. Here's the video if you're interested: th-cam.com/video/TjE4SKpN8y4/w-d-xo.html
They can get a double rollback when I can’t even get a text back😭
How are you doing let's rollback together
You stole that from a video of one guy I saw it
It’s from my camera
Pride Coaster Club no the comment I saw that same comment on a different double rollback vid
Yeah this stolen lmao
There’s always that one person on the ride who was scared and forced on the ride by someone, I feel bad for that one person lol
There is always someone that is forced by friends
That is literally me 😭 or I would do it to someone
Today I got a quad rollback, they ended up shutting it down for the day sadly
Awesome
wow that would be so fun.
I experienced it 2 times but loved it
Cool
Another great video of an awesome ride, thanks for sharing!
Haha this made me smile so much! I wish I could have experienced one when I visited!
Someday you will board and you will get one it’s a amazing feeling

Got to love a rollback
wow!!!
I have never seen that train before is it just the black train repainted?
I luckily got to experience a roll back. Never will forget it
Roll backs are amazing
There should be a special credit for the rollback since it's like a new unique ride 😎
These folks got 2 rollbacks and I've never even gotten one, lol.
what makes roll back? under weight? winds?
Various factors wind weight weather

Love this....2 roll backs?.....
Thanks
The thumbs down has never had a rollback.
I'm glad you got this on video, but man I can't believe I missed this! What time did this happen?
It was a little after 12
@@PrideCoasterClub okay that's why I missed it, I was waiting in line for valravn at that time.
You can share it to your viewers
Awesome Video I want a rollback
That's nothing. Once, I got an infinite rollback. In fact, I'm still on it while typing this.
My last trip there in 2007 (debut of Maverick) I had 1 rollback on TTD but never got 2. They are lucky
It was rollbacks galore that day
Idk why I’m watching this channel
Thanks for watching
i’m so glad i live in ohio i get to be at cedar point all summer !
They've had problems with this ride ever since it opened. Every time we went to Cedar Point the ride was not running.
I think the kinks are out now have you ridden it yet
I have been there 7 times and 1 time it was closed
@@PrideCoasterClub Nah I was there this past September and it was down most of the day. Opened up later but only half filled cars.
I really hope this will be year to ride
Didn't happen last year since I rode it, and fit the safety belt for the first time.
Yeah
@@PrideCoasterClub I will be there hopefully next week for Millennium Force since I fit the safety belt last year on my birthday with assistance, same thing on Top Thrill Dragster, had to pull the safety belt very hard to latch.
We might be there next weekend
Why da wheels so big?
To make for a fast smooth ride and do to the speed of the launch
@@PrideCoasterClub oh ok
How many of u have had a rollback before?
I've had 3
Glad you got one
I’ve tried so freaking hard to get one and still haven’t....ughhh
You will get one
I did at walmart 😂
I WISH I WAS THERE
How tall do u have to be
54
Like 50. I guess
My first time going to cedar point I saw a rollback
Panda Panda did you ride it while at the point
Pride Coaster Club no because I was scared at first but next time I will
So I just went yesterday and I rode it at night
Back when they just did relaunches instead of shutting it down
not gonna lie I'm very much so looking forward the what this awesome coaster is becoming too! - Rachel Macie
Still waiting to get a rollback
Rollbacks rule
Is it possible to crash into the station
No
That’s what the white things that stick up out of the track are for
