I have a 2004 Porsche Cayenne. It needs a lot of work; the last thing I plan to do is replace the headlights....your video is going to make that process a lot easier! Thank you!
The right way to remove the headlight is keep rotating the 6mm bolt and the headlight will be pushed out by itself, there’s a lever under the headlight unit that pushes the unit out and in depending which way you rotate the bolt. I just changed all my bulbs to LEDs and it took me a while to understand how it all works.
Great video! I would like to warn people about the fins on the bottom. Be very careful putting the light back in! I was impatient while putting my light back in and snapped off part of the plastic fin. Slow and steady!
4.5 V8 and NO xenon headlamps buuu 😩 … By the way Thanks, however i was here to figure out which type of direction cornering light need to change on my xenon headlights Porsche Cayenne 2005. thanks i’ll keep searching! Stefano
great instructions on headlight replacement. the 2004 cayenne headlights are different. accessing the sidelight bulb is difficult. what are your recommendations for getting to those lights?
with my porsche cayenne the headlight keeps cutting out until I have to push it back in. I'm wondering if the mechanic did not line up the headlight back into the grooves.
Hi Cody. Thanks for the helpful video. Novice question: Can you identify the wrench tool that you used and, preferably, provide a link to it on Amazon, etc.?
Do anybody know how or which led light bulbs will work with the Cayenne without giving the warnings to check the lights? I tried many led from Amazon, cheap, expensive, can-bus, error free.... it does not matter, The led bulbs works OK but the dashboard never stop asking me to check the lights. I put back the regular bulbs and the warnings stops.

Very Helpful, needed to change turn signal bulb on 04 Cayenne Turbo. Didn’t think Porsche would’ve made it this easy.

Don't forget to drain your bulkhead Co-Cayenne people! It will save you thousands in water damage. I made a video in my Porsche Tech playlist.

where can i get new headlight lens
What is the bulb at the bottom for? It's the one below the turn signal that you didn't show lighting up. Is that the cornering light?

I have a 2004. And if you take a look in the trunk there is the wrench you looking for.
what are the 2 really small bulbs called in with the headlight all the way in the front, not the turn signal or the high beam
would you happen to know the specific turning signal bulb # ?
