@@bencebotye3904 I watched next gen as a kid so i didnt get alot of it but I enjoyed it. Got more into star wars and other stuff but I enjoyed TNG and DS9. Haven't watched Voyager yet.
@@BlackDiamond2718 I enjoyed some part of TNG(It is a long running show, so we can forgive it), DS9 is my favorite, but Voyager can be good as well, it's the worst of the three still had a great moments, but in my country oddly that had the most reruns.

Ben is the best example of the straight man I've ever seen.
Ann was the straight man on this show, Ben wasn't as wacky as some of the other characters but a lot of the time he was hilarious.
I would have though Ron Swanson would have been but fair enough
I think they kinda had a few different straight characters based on the episode. Sometimes it was Ann, sometimes Ben and yes, sometimes Ron. But all of them also had elements of their character that were silly.

Ben was truly the only character in television i felt relatable. Nerdy and anxiety ridden, he’s just the best. Adam Scott was great as Ben.
"Drizzle it on for me, I'm not your maid!" That philosophy saved Tom a night on the toilet.
The treat yo self episode where Tom was telling Ben it was okay for him to get the suit and be himself was honestly super wholesome, I loved the episodes where Tom’s good qualities actually shined through. And any episode revolving around Donna is just good, her character is so sweet and kind, no matter how sassy she may act
I love that episode. No one needs a friend like Tom normally, but everyone does needs a friend like Tom who is that supportive about something we may be embarrassed about. Anyone who can get a "Ben Wyatt" type of person to express themselves and be proud of who they are like that is an absolute treasure. If you have a friend like that, hold on to them!

I gotta admit, when I was first introduced to Ben Wyatt, I thought he'd be the kind of smug, condescending person everybody would love to hate, but as the show progressed, he would not only become perfect for Leslie, but also the kind of guy I'd honestly love to hang out with. Well done, writers.

Tom is super sweet when he says the nerdy part of buying the Batman suit is great.
I think my favorite part about Ben is that every relationship he has are such oddball pair-ups, especially with April, Andy, Tom. They all rag on Ben for being a nerd, but he helps to balance them out. It also shows a great contrast between him and Leslie: Leslie is often the voice of action that tells them to realize the best of themselves, Ben is the voice of reason who gives them adulting advice.
When Tom was naming off things that he thought Ben would like and he goes "stamps probably" I almost pissed myself laughing lol.
He's just too damned CUTE!!
