Don’t listen to the people telling you, your doing it wrong. Your doing great, big help thanks. I have a huge collection, I just wanted to narrow it down. Thanks for the tips
Great advice! I have done a lot of the same tactics. I don't do lots as much just because like you said you have to have money up front to do that, but I know that's a great way to do it. Also people sell lots because they don't want to spend a lot of time selling their games. To them it's just junk taking up space. They know it's worth money, they just don't want to invest the time to get the most out of it. They have other Hobby's. Their only other option is taking things to a local trade shop and at best getting 40% of it's value. You are helping them even if you're only paying 80%. But this is literally all the same advice I would give anyone. Great video that I don't see anyone else doing on TH-cam.
Pawn shops are another way to buy games for cheap. Sometimes the owners are just trying to get rid of games/ movies and if you ask them sometimes they will give you a great price on a large amount. Another way is going to liquidation sales from Amazon or similar retailers that sell their inventory by weight. Great video by the way 🤠
Personally a collection for me has to have a connection to me, and every single game that is on a shelf needs to be a game I love and a game I have memories for, some of these tips don't really work for me because of that. I don't wanna buy in bulk or just get whatever my familly has, cause theyll mostly be shitty, and although I can pick a few that are good, Im not gonna get a hugelly good value out of that, since from a whole lot of 20 games Im gonna want to keep 1 or 2.
But, as he said in the video, you can sell the games you don't want and use that money to get games you actually do want and can see yourself playing and growing a connection to!
Eesh. About that 1st tip. My dad owned a heck load of video game consoles when he was a kid, NES to N64, however, he apparently threw them all away. I'm just glad he didn't own a Gamecube though.
I disagree with get rid of expensive games.i collect to play but i collect a lot of games i will probably never play. I want a complete ogxbox collection because i love the og xbox and its the only one that every game it has is obtainable. So selling the rare games you have is not good advice
If you’re trying to complete a console collection that’s obviously not applicable advice for you, that tip is for people starting out. Don’t go and collect the expensive games right out the gate simply because they’re valuable pieces, focus on buying back your childhood favorites and games that actually interest you. That’s all I’m saying with that one.

This feels like a tutorial on coming out

Thank you for the helpful advice because I lost most of my video games on the move sadly!! 😞

So did my dad, he donated or gave away almost all of them, doesn’t hurt to ask though!
Thanks!

1 tip from me. Only go for games you most definitely will play.
Hey man, any suggestions and tips you would give if I'm an 18 year old and lives in a 3rd world country like Colombia?
