    From what I understand it would be nearly impossible to destroy the Dark Brotherhood because even if all of the living members were killed off, the spirit of the Night Mother could eventually choose a new Listener and have them rebuild the Brotherhood. Supposedly after her execution Night Mother later entered the mind of a traveler and Introduced them into the worship of Sithis.

    I honestly in TES 6 you should have the choice to join the Dark Brotherhood and rebuild it, or join a traditional assassin guild in Hammerfell where you are trained to assassinate Thalmor members in High Rock, and take out the last few remaining members of the Dark Brotherhood in Hammerfell/High Rock, as well as other targets. But it would be mostly like political assassinations rather than hits carried out for money like in the Dark Brotherhood. But it would be similar to how the Morag Tong were enemies of the Dark Brotherhood but ob a different basis

    TES Legends also has a story piece about the Clockwork City that I'm unsure you've covered. 3 stories altogether: main story of the Forgotten Hero, Fall of the Dark Brotherhood and the Clockwork City.
    It's very thoughtfull of you to also cover the least popular of the Elder Scrolls games.

      I actually kind of hope that the dark brotherhood is wiped out forever. I'd much rather work for the Penitus Oculatus in the next TES game. It's not really touched upon in Skyrim, but the Penitus Oculatus is actually much more secretive and dangerous than the Blades were, and people in the Legion refer to them as "spectres" in the two elder scrolls novels by Greg Keyes. The Penitus Oculatus do a lot of things, including assassinations and stealing.

    • @finmetalwarrior
      @finmetalwarrior 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shadow.dx2.095 as far as I know the lore doesn't actually say that they're chosen as children, but that they have informants in city guards etc. who recommend "young and bright" individuals to the recruiters, and that they have different specializations, secret libraries etc. and are required to get through tests that prove they're willing to dirty their hands for the emperor before they're fully accepted into the order. And they're also technically not loyal to the empire, but rather to the emperor personally.

    Hey Imperial, I have a good question. Can a Daedric Prince be killed? If I somehow killed Mehrunes Dagon, what will happen? Will nothing happen or will I absorb his power thus making me the next Prince of Destruction, what do you think?

      @dairydregone7146 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Plz, make a video on my question if u want. I'm pretty sure plenty of people would want to know the answer.

    • @ImperialKnowledge
      @ImperialKnowledge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I am not sure i am the right person to answer the question as my expertise is not in the metaphysical realm of lore. Butttt from what I understood (of secondary sources/people who know what they are talking about) it should be possible to destroy a deadric prince (not just kill, but destroy) and in that process it should be possible to somehow harness the power/divine energie of the prince. But I have no idea personally as to how one should go about that

    • @finmetalwarrior
      @finmetalwarrior 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You can't kill a daedric prince. You can hurt them, you can steal their power (parts of it at least, like happened to Clavicus Vile when a witch made him a sword that stole a part of his power and turned it into a being called Umbra), but Daedric princes are immortal. If you destroy their physical body, they just reappear within their own realm. Similarly it is impossible to actually kill lesser daedra like Dremora or even scamps, as their essence travels back to oblivion and eventually reforms and they are reborn. For the lesser daedra it might take centuries or even millennia, but for the princes they pretty much appear back there within moments, or maybe days or weeks if something truly caused them a massive blow.

    • @connorbarton4308
      @connorbarton4308 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@finmetalwarriorso correct me if I’m wrong about any of this, but in oblivion it is stated that nirn was to be lorkhans plane of oblivion, which makes sense with all the turmoil, but my point is didn’t the Dwemer beam themselves out of existence by mantling lorkhans heart, and the tribunal and dagoth ur mantled the heart of lorkhan to become demigods, certainly immortals. On top of that I believe talos using the voice could be considered mantling eventually leading to godhood, as the voice was a gift from kynareth, who was aedra, so by using her power he led a massive campaign until his throat was slit. I’d also argue that Martin mantled akatosh to defeat mehrunes Dagon, I believe that mantling steals the aedra or daedras power but ultimately they can only be banished

    I loved the dark brotherhood in oblivion. Everything about it. But I couldn’t stand them in Skyrim. They suck in comparison. They can’t talk to the Night Mother, they don’t follow the tenets, and I don’t like their robes or armor. I’m very pro Empire, and they want you to kill the fucking Emperor? Not happening. Personally, I just find most of the members annoying. I wiped them out. Kidnap my ass will you? You fucked with the wrong Breton.
