This isnt "educational". Hasan obviously has his own view on the conflict and this video is really an opinion piece. If it were educational he would also be covering the Israeli view on this conflict and why they view their actions are necessary. Instead his only coverage is that Israelis are acting in evil self interest. If you do wish to be educated, try to understand the other side's view. I used to watch Nick's stream and let me tell you something he likes to act stupid (I think he knows his history but I dont think he knows too much about Israel and Palestine other than the surface level stuff) He is a smart person and judges things rationally looking at his reactions here he was holding back a lot (just to stay on the safe side and not say something too outta pocket)
you can be uneducated on a topic while still being a smart person, I don't think anyone would think he's dumb for asking these questions and not being educated when every facet of American life from school to mainsteam media makes it as difficult as possible to learn the actual truth when it comes to what America is involved in. When it comes to learning, it takes two to tango. It takes an open mind asking questions and it takes a patient teacher who knows their field.

I empathize with everyone wishing they were as ignorant to the injustices of the World, global or local. Especially how many nations and authorities behave around the idea of these injustices and use their power and influence to legalize and sign off on injustices. Knowing and trying to learn brings in a lot of discomfort and their is this confrontation with cognitive dissonance, but that is what those causing injustices count on. Enough people staying silent, because it is distressing and makes 1 question their authority and often identity, would help injustices persist unchallenged. So thank you all for learning and even more if u speak up. Standing for this issue has also cost some people(including Israelis in Israel) their safety, freedom, relationships, livelihood, and more, so this altruistic stand for justice is mighty admirable.

My baba tried to have a conversation with my white liberal grandpa in the early 2000s about Israel but it turned into him yelling at my dad for “hating Jews”…fast forward now- I’m alive and in early November I gave my now widowed grandma the book The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine by Rashid Khalidi. Need him to show more hardhitting pictures i understand why he didnt but image will convince ppl much more than his words even if his words are correct
@@swimmininls1039 nah, this is how you do it, if you traumatise people too quickly with horrific images they get desensitised and switch off. If you understand the facts of whats going on, you understand the context of the images. Then they no longer want to turn off when they see with their own eyes and instead will be motivated to do shit. (That is, so long as they are open-minded to the truth. It's not as easy if they are heavily indoctrinated.)
That's kinda what I've always assumed the 40K universe is, a satirical melting pot of all the colonial projects and fascist movements of the last few centuries (in space!)
A good search is "average israeli view on the war in gaza", you will find that their motivations are not at all evil but in self preservation. Hasan is massively simplifying things in this video and doing the public a disservice
@@Jack-gl2xw To be fair, his coverage is that Israelis are being used as pawns and acting in America's evil self interest. He is an American criticizing American imperialism.

@@rudec0de I never liked the character nick plays on stream, but I'm glad it's just that and he's not actually as dense as it seems
you can be uneducated on a topic while still being a smart person, I don't think anyone would think he's dumb for asking these questions and not being educated when every facet of American life from school to mainsteam media makes it as difficult as possible to learn the actual truth when it comes to what America is involved in.
When it comes to learning, it takes two to tango. It takes an open mind asking questions and it takes a patient teacher who knows their field.
@@rudec0de I don't know anything about him but it's obvious to me that he's open-minded and critical and wanted to let Hasan educate him. Its also useful for an educator to assume zero knowledge on a topic like Hasan does here. They're both doing a great job and making great content here.
My guess is that he's probably heard some of this stuff before, like how he mentioned having seen one or two of the videos, without really knowing the context of it until now. That’s exactly what this was for…was to show people how to approach the topic and walk someone through it all. It was a great way to showcase how you can educate people on the topic.

She read it and finally understood. Now whenever the topic about Palestine shows up, she always says she’s glad she knows the truth and knows that if her husband was still alive, he would have apologized and have been pro-Palestine.
