In the Industry forward kinematic is usually only used for fine tuning poses, the main work is done with inverse kinematic and DAZ Studio has some kind of IK implemented, but I was never able to effectively use it to pose a character anywhere close to how IK is used in other 3D-Software like Blender. So for me it was easier when building a whole new pose, to have the Genesis model in Blender, pose it there and re-import the fbx exported pose back to Daz, where I would do the finishing touches.
Interesting comment. I'm having a similar experience. DAZ PowerPose requires a great deal of finesse, and seems to work better or worse depending on the circumstance.
Another thing ive noticed is under the chaacter on the Parameters Pane the is Pose Controls, but these sometimes they dont seem to affect the actual parameters. Any idea why?
I just noticed how when you click on a picture on your store it zooms in right where you clicked on it so you can inspect it closely That is genius I've never seen that before in my life
I've been using Power Pose a lot now. I enjoy it and use it for animations too. I notice that using PowerPose in an animation at a latter keyframe will alter poses in the beginning of my animations. Haven't figured out why.
It's likely that the property you change on a later keyframe was not keyframed on the first frame. To avoid this, make sure to set a manual keyframe in your desired position for all values in the timeline. Hope this helps!
I enjoyed your kind explanation. thank you. In my case, I am more interested in animation than pose. I am currently making various animations with Genesis 9. Looking at the comments, they say that daz studio is a program that is vulnerable to animation, but I have a different opinion. In my opinion, if you create and use an aniblock, you can create a decent animation.
Hello everyone, I have no problem with the poses in daz studio but I never managed to import them into blender unlike the rest. I use difomorphic, if anyone knows a good tutorial on the subject I'm interested.
@@Daz_3Dhow we can ask to daz3d creator for a new updates for g9 and a faster render updates. G9 models need more poses for feet and hands poses holding items. We need more HDRI for interiors inside of the places shops or locatios for to create a mini city
@@WPguru There's been a power pose template for G9 out for a while now. Update Genesis 9 Essentials (I think) if you don't have it available in Daz Studio.
@@WPguru Glad I could be of help to the Guru. 😅 I'd say it's pretty easy to miss among all different things that are released. And that got me thinking. Some kind of splash screen when launching Studio, that showed release notes for anything that's been updated would be very handy.
DAZ was very smart (and we were very lucky!) to have Jay as their Explainer-in-Chief!
Awwww thanks Kevin!
You nailed it, Kevin! Jay is the Man! He's probably forgotten more than I'll ever learn.
Wow! I learned some new things about posing in DAZ Studio! That's awesome!
Thanks man!
Thanks yet again, Jay!
You're very welcome!

Have you tried Cascadeur yet?

@@Daz_3D I'll try that. Hopefully I can do that with aniblocks too. Thank you!

DAZ refers to animation as a "pose." To me, this is hard to get used to.
Buonasera è impossibile procedere con la registrazione e quindi con il download di daz3d come mai.. è risolvibile? grazie

The advice given does not work in my DAZ 4.21. My figure moves uncontrollably regardless of "pins" setups.
not compatible with chrome os
Hi, my next request would be: How to sit a character? Let's say on the floor?
Thank you@
Sure thing!
@@Daz_3D looking forward!!

We want power pose for genesis 9 )
We do indeed! I've heard it's in the works, and I can't wait for it.

Bruh, Daz is posing program and don't have proper posing tools. 💀💀💀
