i saw it on FB, loved it.... thanks for sharing, cause i was wondering how you did head part. all clear now. since i am doing some tutorials, i hope u dont mind my comment... you said about one part of video its boring... it was trimming part...what i try to do is just speed up that part, i'd like my viewers to watch as much of my vids as possible... same as u here, i try to pass what i know... now i just dont talk when i know i will speed up some part.... anyway, thanks again for sharing. cheers....
Thanks...I used to speed it up, but like them now to be real-time if it's only a few seconds longer. What I should have done was cut perhaps. All comments welcome atb
That very last part where you talk about the glue and straightening the fibers out in the coffee mug?? Did I miss something or was the coffee mug and water just to wet the fly down to see how she’ll look? Again.. just wondering if I missed something?
Nice Paul! Have you tried the Congo hair for this fly. I've used it alot for this style of fly, but not the fuzzy fibre. I too gone off the E.P fibre. This fly looks very Trouty. Cheers.
Nice streamer, light and no clutering. Congrats.
Excellent
Enjoyed the tutorial, thanks Paul, i can see me getting the tying gear out again soon. Always find your videos very inspirational.
Very nice! I’ve tied almost exactly the similar, and they’ve given me some trouts. Short shank works very well in upstream fishing.
Nice tie, and really good demonstration video. Thanks.
Great simple little pattern.
Thanks
Nice one Paul! Like the translucence you get with the illusion of bulk using fuzzy fiber - will give these a go! Cheers! Hank
Looks awesome!
Very nice 👍
I had no idea that Ricky Gervais was a fly fisher! Good on you mate.
Not the first time I've heard that 😂
@@paul_monaghan 😄 🤣 😂
@@paul_monaghan also...great tutorial...can't wait to tie my own. Very well done.

We were talking about fouling wings the other day - was going to send you this link but see that I don't have to LOL!
@@hankvana2149 great tutorials here 😀😀
Nice
That fly should work great!

Mug of boiling water to straighten the tail fibres. Optional of course. I just use straighter nayat in these now, with fuzzy head.
You should add links to where you buy the materials
No point for a global audience. The point of the videos are to show how and why, rather than for folks to copy exactly.

Never used it bud. EP I found too soft and prone to tangles so haven't used it in a while
Hy m8!!
How is your health these day's??
Hi what vice do you use
Peak Rotary
Does "strung fuzzy fibre" is the same thing as FLASH’N SLINKY FIBRE made by H2O?
I don't know as haven't used the H2O product. I'm sure it will be just fine
