Just like my powe amalgamation... jazzy 614 with jazzy select elite seat, annd other misc. Parts from elsewhere. Youre seriously cool brother ... much appreciated
Pretty Sweet ! In case you wanted to know: The Quantum Q6E 4Pole motors are Electrocraft rebranded as Pride. If those motors on your Q6E Strawberry are 4 Pole Electrocraft, they are probably an approximate 80ohm Impedance. The same should be true on your Q6E Banana... an approximate 80ohm Impedance with 4 pole. The 2 Pole motors are an approximate 70ohm Impedance .... Factory set anyway. Now that we finally figured out the tricks the bums put the programming in the clouds !
I am trying to understand wheelchair electronics and software. I live in a old Etac E880, and in my front room are 2 old Permobil C500, partly in pieces. I am cleaning all parts, learning, going to bring the best parts together to give it a second life + have some spare parts. And most important: I am going to make the seat exactly how I need it to be! The "professionals" have not been able to make me an ok wheelchair in 3 years... Did you make a video all ready that explains the electronics and the software?
the programing requires an R-Net dongle to make any changes.. they're not very cheap unfortunately.. but ive got some links to basic programming information if ya need them!
@@TotallyNormal- Ohw now: dongles. But I need to get it running. What all do I need for a Permobil C500/C500S?; an R-net dongle, R-net software, it runs on what OS? (Win, Mac?) and probably a "how to" . I very much dislike that they choose to make access difficult & expensive. Although there will probably also be settings that need a professional understanding. If you could help me (and others) out with this, that would be great! I am taking apart a P C500, and am making a drawing of the electrical connections (motors, wires, hubs, lights, and such). Goal is to make a video of that, and share it :-)
@@TotallyNormal- Sweet: I found your video "VLOG 297: whats inside a wheelchair joystick" th-cam.com/video/0aLSxddJPRc/w-d-xo.html And about onboard programing Permobil (didn't know about that!) Where the heck do you get all the chairs.. i can't even get one... Wow! and i have been in a wheelchair for 47 years. everytime i get a new chair they take the one i previously had
Can these mods (using Invecare motors, controller, and stick), be applied to a Jazzy Select HD? If not, where would I find info on how to mod my Select HD? Not finding much on YT. More torque and faster top speed, are the goals. Thank you!!
What would cause a Jazzy 600 to just stop? I was driving it down the sidewalk and it just quit. No power...nothing. It was at about half charge before it cut out. I have all the plastic taken off but I cannot get to the front battery because there is a bracket over it and I have no socket/wrench to get the bolts out. I do not even know what size I need to buy. Also, there is some kind of switch on the left rear. Can you tell me what it is for and what it is called?
Dan could you help with the motor gear box coding. Can you tell gear ratio and and output shaft RMP’s? You mention motor size. My jazzy hd elite can take way longer length motors the 4 pole type. So I will be looking for motor gearbox combination with controller joystick stuff on the used market to get the Jazzy HD Elite to do about 6 to 7 mph. Thanks in advance fo can DM on twitter.
most of the pronto chairs use either a handheld unit, or need software on a laptop to program.. ive played with a few of them, and each chair seems to be different as to which programing method actually works.. sorry im not a lot of help on this one :^/
oops - my last reply was meant for a different video LOL but yea.. pretty much anything is possible! the prices of RC controls, and other electronics have gotten a lot less expensive over the years :^)
How do the wheelchair electronics and software compare to the modern stuff that is used in model aircrafts and such, AND what all can be exchanged?! The part that contains the joystick, does that usually also contain the CPU/brains and the OS/software? You call that "the controller". The part down in the back, I figure that gets information from the joystick box and makes power for the motors based on that information. Do you know if that information is in Pulse Width Modulation (PWM)? You call this part "the controller" as well.. that is confusing. Is it an electronic speed control (ESC)? Wheelchairs are mostly brushed DC, not "brushless DC". don't know if that power unit shares the same name. What OS are there, and how to access all? I know of R-net, but not how to access it. They don't want everybody to access the settings, but I am not everybody, and "they" should trust us a bit more, give us more control over how we "walk". Very annoying to be depended on very hard to arrange professionals. A lot of questions. Answer if you feel like it. Thanks for your videos!
hey dan is possible to build a wheelchair train use one chair to pull 2 or 3 others people can ride in like a train be funny as hell dan and his train blasting down the sidewalks to a new adventure lol to infinity and beyonddddd

I would love to have one of those IPODS.. I used to have one, but a friend of mine never gave it back to me, then they moved away.
Is the Jazzy Elite 24 the strongest of the Jazzy line, if you have experience with one
this is wild. I hope it doesn't go so fast that it catches fire lol..

Trying to figure out how to raise my seat on my Jazzy HD Elite
hey handyman, I am surprise people still like old Ipods....
What size batteries do you use in your Electric chair
most chairs are either NF22, Group 34, or 24 (smallest to largest)

Would it be possible to turn a old chair into a snow blower like a robot with hand controls !!

I in a power chair also and I am up to get a new chair and looking for a chair to will work in our yard
would it be expensive have to build super speed a Quantum Power Chair bud?
some quantum chairs ya can just swap on the 8.5 MPH motors.. this chair though, would require some adapters to make it happen
What software you use to open the file?
there's a link to the video about it in the description.. or here - - - th-cam.com/video/ycIWIUyzrKY/w-d-xo.html
