I didn't notice any tie-down hookd mounted to the base unit, do you have to order those extra?
People usually tie down to the frame at the front and rear casters or even to the armrest at the seat frame. You can also purchase tie downs if needed as well.

1-What is the difference between jazzy 600 and jazzy 600 ES? 2- I did not see a charger included in your demo box. Do they come with a charger? What is the recommended Charger for the 600 series? 3- What is the recommended battery for a Jazzy 600? (what brand?). Thanks😉
1 - 600 is discontinued and the ES was an upgraded version.
2 - You would get a charger with the unit. We wouldn't going sell you a power chair and not include a way to charge it.
3 - You would get a 5A charger to charge the 55A batteries. We carry Interstate brand as well as MK brand batteries.

Once it is assembled, can you take the chair back off, so you can fit both pieces more easily into car boots?
You cant take the back of the seat off but the seat backs to fold down. Also the seat can come off so that may be an option for you as well. Hope this helps!
I HAVE A JAZZY GT THAT NEEDED BATTERIES SO I WAS TOLD WHEN IT WAS GIVEN TO ME. I PURCHASED TWO NEW BATTERIES BATTERIES THE ONLY THING THAT WORKED DO FAR IS THE CONTRLLER TURNED ON. BUT THATS IT. IT DID NOT MAKE THE CHAIR WORK WHAT ELSE CAN I CHECK?
Could be a multitude of things. Best bet would be to take it to a mobility store in your area and have them check it over to see what the issue is and gain a resolution and running for you.
I have a jazzy 600e and it stopped working. I was at the beach and was told by the parks department that I could go on the sand but only on the tarp they had laid out for wheelchairs. It rolled in fine and I was only on the tarp they put down but as I was rolling back up it suddenly stopped midway and would not recharge. Any advice would help
Hi Evelyn. It's hard to say what happened with your power chair w/out actually seeing it. But in the future, I would be very cautious about taking a normal power chair anywhere on the beach. There are some chairs that are specifically made for the beach and sand etc, but the Jazzy 600 ES is not one of them.
