I'm also in year 13 and it was so relatable watching you wait for your first offer, the worst is when other people have offers from universities you've applied for but you have heard nothing, I'm still waiting on a couple of mine but I'm glad you got into oxford and all that hard work has paid off x

Massive congrats Eve!!!!! You'll honestly have the best time at Oxford! Also, commenting on what you said about the personal statement in the beginning. The best advise I was given by my deputy head who helped me with my personal statement (who is an expert at life and UCAS) was that if you're going to get your PS looked over to try to only go to one person! Make sure its someone who knows you and that you trust but people will all have there own opinions how something should sound/read like and it will just confuse everything. Best thing I ever did was to ask advise but never show it to other teachers/parents because it saved an awful lot of conflict and anxiety! :)
