It's really a wonderful time to be alive as a Beyblade fan, I can't imagine how it's like for those who grew up during plastic Gen to witness the awesomeness Beyblade X has been as a Generation. It must be a wonderful feeling beyond belief🔥
as a 31 year old blades from plastic through metal fight and burst now X it's been a rid and I'm glad the Dranzer/Kei fan in me never gave up on the show
Put some respect on Rhino Horn, I took it to a decent sized tournament and took home a bronze with it as a new player. Been running it on taper and it holds it's own against pretty much anything that isn't wizard rod. And even then, it gets lucky shots more often than you'd think. At the risk of stepping on another beytuber's toes, I'd say Rhino's definitely better than Leon Claw.
@@petergereige2166the rubber is softer and the tip is a lot bigger, both are factors that heavily affect it, if the rubber was a little harder it would be much better, please educate yourself
@@senttex1407 I tried to put it in the simplest way to understand, yes the rubber is softer which causes more friction, yes the diameter is larger, but that isn't the main factor. The main factor is that it is made out of rubber, which causes the bit to be softer if it wasn't made out of rubber the bit would not of been that soft. Take mfb's rf for instance, it had worse stamina than a regular tip because it made out of rubber, not the shape.
I feel like with rubber ur results would be better with a ripcord launcher. That extra power can give rubber a little bit more time to get that good hit
From what i see, RA gives strong hits by letting the bey "dig in" to the arena to not lose as much force to recoil. The downside is that more energy is being burned due to the higher friction. So basically for RA you want to get in, HIT HARD, and hope it's enough. I want to try it on Shark Edge 2-60. The wings of 2-60 should give it more balance by adding weight to the gaps between its two blades, and with an aggressively tilted launch hopefully that rubber gives it enough power for a hell of an upper....or RA turns into a tire and launches Shark into the wall.
@@QUBIQUBEDMost people think any ratchet that is potentially prone to bursting on some blades are immediately bad. Yet weight distribution and blade shape are rarely factored into those conversations
That said, I didn't notice that the worst matches seem to be the heaviest blades used (whale and pegasus). So I want to add that maybe RA works better on a lighter blade. RA adds "retroactive weight" to its combo by doing what I said before and giving more stadium grip. Maybe the heavy blades are working against that by making it grip too much?
That just means they need to build some new stadiums. You can make one with edges that revs the bey's & makes them fly over hills or a long half pipe with boost drops in the corners
I just rediscovered beys after 15 years with x expansion and i m in love again. When nostalgia kicks in, you can t do much 😂 your channel is helping me understand this new era a bit more, thanks 😎💪🏼
The main problem with rubber accel seems to be its inconsistency on the extreme line. Compared to other bits that really have their gears interlock and in turn consistently get extreme dashes off, RA really likes to perform weird ricochets as opposed to a proper extreme dash. Future rubber bits have major potential, but for now this one is just notably flawed
At 4:25 I was watching this with my kid and was like see that’s why the instructions tell you not to put your hand in the stadium with a spinning beyblade. 🤣🤣
14:47 the idea of this combo is supposed to basically use the one hit KO of Buster at it full at the first 5 seconds of battle since RA is increasing the attack power of the one hit but at the same time decreasing the stamina of it
Guys I just rediscovered Beyblades as a 31 year old woman and I was kind of into it as a kid but I never got this into it as I am now I don't remember anything I don't know how to build or really pick blades based on whatever features etc...we bought a bunch of Beyblade X Series (and stadium) and we're watching the anime and it's freaking awesome but I need like a beginner's video of getting into Beyblade because I feel overwhelmed but I also have ADHD and I want to dive headfirst into it I just need a direction to go first LOL help please 🙏🏽
I'll be honest, this is the best time to get back in. Though it's been out a year it's still early enough to not have so much that it's a difficult climb. I rediscovered with burst but x has me exited.
Your Tyrano Beat results on 5-60 P pretty much line up with the expected results against Wizard Rod which tends to have a 70% WR even against the best attack beys. But going 6-8 in points is about what you'd expect from the match up, getting an average of two points in a win, and almost always only losing one point in a loss.
The main thing id say is to increase your sample sizes so that you get meaningfully useful data. I'm sure you considered that, but this would be a lot more informative and useful for me as a viewer if the sample size was statistically relevant. I appreciate the vid regardless though, thank you
Rubber is going to burn spin speed faster through friction so it's entering the arena with a very short timer on its head. It's advantage comes at contact with another beyblade the rubber can dig into the arena meaning it won't face the recoil it normally would from an impact making an opponent eat that force instead. Meaning rubber wants a 1hit KO or at least an early xtreme finish (as was shown in the testing) Characteristics should change a bit as it wears out too so maybe some long term testing might be cool
I think they need to make rubber more hard since unlike burst the xtreme system exist. It has to be not to grippy but to slidy like plastic it should be just right
I am not sure if this is a good test because the Rubber on the new bit wears out, faster compared to past versions. So doing this test would require a new bit for each combo, or else the rubber is just being formed by past battles and thus changing how it will preform.
I know why it doesn't work, there's a sliding motion from the gears interlocking which is usually unnoticeable, this sliding is due to the gear ratio being less than that of the stadium. The rubber adding friction means that it can't slide as easily, so it just unbinds itself from the gear lock. It might be possible to have a better rubber bit in the future, but it would have to be redesigned to either have less teeth on the gears of the bit, or have less surface area on the rubber of the bit, or they could do both, either way it'll come at the cost of speed without the xcelerater line.
I think I understand why rubber accel did better with buster than the rest Buster's shape is the best of all the other and rubber accel need not only weight but mostly a good shaped blade
Yeah I'm not the first to say it, but I kind of expected this, especially for rubber accel. What I'm interested in is rubber needle, and metal accel/flat/rush. I'd also be curious about rubber rush if they ever do that, because I think that shape is more suited to rubber
Only have a Hasbro stadium, and I’ve noticed with some of they beys I tested RA on, aside from the huge loss in stamina, I don’t really have much control over how weird the attacks come out. Too many near Self-KO’s. I used Samurai Saber, Whale Wave, and Dranbuster for those tests
honestly i just feel that with the sheer speed around X already, the speed of a rubber flat feels almost redundant only for a loss of stamina & just general lategame res
If you don't like rhino that much, I suggest running it on a 7-60 LF/RA, RA give the extra movement, while 7-60 gives it that extra weight it needs. Hope this helps!
Very nitpicky but at 5:54 you said areo had a type disadvantage but attack types have a type advantage against stamina types 🤓 also great to see rubber accel not appearing to have the wearing problem that you showed last video 👌
This is going to make me sound ancient but I miss the classic plastic beys, one look at an attack ring and you could tell what type it was and what it would do in battle. Looking at modern beys its hard to distiguish one lumpy circle from another
Yeah I think it definitely has OHKO potential. Super hard to test reliably tho and basically impossible to test solo really. I think if you launch it in the pocket and drop down immediately at an opponent in the middle then it could be best at that one thing. But that's about it
We should’ve just got a regular rubber flat to be completely honest. But maybe the lack luster accel is gonna give us room before a good flat bit gets released and changed the meta for good.
From the look of Rubber Accel, it seems to have way too much surface area so it's burning away it's stamina, if the rubber part was smaller it might last longer
Like i thought, rubber accel really bad because of xtreme dash, even the bottom not touch when xtreme dash but still make it lost some stamina and low stamina make it losing hard
So i want to see how effective that but is against beyblades that the attacker can bring down, instead of against what appears to be the most OP blade in Wizard rod
I was doing a bunch of testing with my Pegasus definitely do not use Rubber Accel it KOs itself too much and the stamina is really bad. The best bits to use for it is either Point, Rush or Hexa. Just be careful with hexa because of where it kind of goes into the middle it can easily be knocked out.
