    Did you use the existing mounting arm from the factory red sea nano? I bought a AI prime and own a nano and was wondering how to avoid the skimmer/power box while mounting a Prime. Please advise... Thanks

    • @ReefDudes

      Redsea came with an arm for it that poked in

    Hi do you have a schedule for the AI Nero, I have just installed one on the Red Sea Max Nano. Currently I am Running Random between 7am and 23:30pm with min 10% and max 10% with constant between 23:30pm and 7am at 10%. How does that sound I’m worried it’s to much flow and might disturb the sand, I have mounted my Nero on the rear about 8 inches from the sand bed under the overflow gate. Any advice tips and schedule information would be very much appreciated. Thanks

    I’m going to upgrade my lights to AI Prime but I was wondering if I can use the same mount that came with my Red Sea nano maxx.

    • @ReefDudes

      What mount came with it? The original prime or Red Sea light?

    Do you have your Nero 5 magnet in the back chamber? They call it the dry side magnet so wasn’t sure if I should seal it somehow in case it should not be submersed.

    • @ReefDudes
      @ReefDudes  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Vito D yes I do. It’s not advertised as submersible but it looks every bit as well sealed as the wet side

      Thank you for the reply. When I have my pump all the way to 1% its still pushing out around 900gph. Does that sound correct?@@ReefDudes

    • @ReefDudes
      @ReefDudes  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds about right. It has very broad flow and is super gentle at that speed

    Love the tank! If I have a pair of clowns, a flasher or yellow coris wrasse, and a tailspot blenny in my tank, can I still have sexy shrimp? I would love to have them in my 25g lagoon, but I'm worried that for instance the clowns would be aggressive towards them. Should I worry about compatibility?

    • @ReefDudes
      @ReefDudes  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Flasher wrasse May snack on the sexy shrimp. It really depends on how big the fish/shrimp are. If it can fit in their mouth then there is a risk

    • @schummelpilz
      @schummelpilz 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ReefDudes Thanks!! Is the yellow coris wrasse any more compatible rather than a flasher?

    Why is it after I buy something I start seeing something else and then i am not happy wit h what I bought? haha. I keep seeing cubes like this in peoples family rooms where they dont have a lot of room, now I wish i would have went that direction instead off a 36 bowfront! Off course I couldnt have got anything like this second hand for 100 bucks either with 45 lbs of rock! LOL Love the fathead dendro! I miss mine. It died when my tank crashed :(

    Hi, with a tank of this size, do you need to run the skimmer? I’m planning on buying this nano tank but my research indicates that people are either finding it difficult to get the balance right of the skimmer or it’s too noisy. Thoughts?

    • @ReefDudes
      @ReefDudes  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      you do not need to. I have left mine off for a while now. If you do a 5g water change every week or two the tank will be happy :)
