Rachel Anne Chew he played guitar first but he wasnt that good (apparently) and the band needed a bass player so he switched
+Rachel Anne Chew michael was self taught and then he taught calum. They all know hopw to play guitar and i'm pretty sure they're all good at it. Ashton just loved drumming so he stuck to that and they needed a bass player but no one knew how to so calum like volunteered to do it :)

+Alexia nguon Well they tuned the guitar 1 step down, so that he was able to play easy chords and easy picking. Michael plays the song way different in a more difficult way, but in the end Calum did SO WELL improvising. He is such an amazing musician - that is what all of them are. wow

I'm so used to hearing Mikey's harmonies and singing along to them cause they are amazing. With out mikey and his harmonies in the chorus of this song, it doesn't sound right
yeah same, they didn't look very happy when they performed either
Imagine: Michael suddenly comes out of nowhere and starts singing the harmony. They're all happy now because they're together and they are all glad that he's there. They were just surprised that he made it. They are a family that will never trail apart no matter what happens.

I honestly feel that only One Direction, Ed Sheeran and 5 Seconds of Summer who could sing live much better than the original version... I mean they're never doing those freaking high notes or falsettos like divas do... which is annoying sometimes. They just sing their heart out. And I felt it... When they play it with mikey he takes off the acoustic guitar during the bridge and pick up the electric guitar. Luke had to the the elctric guitar part while calum was stilla playing acoustic. That is the main difference that I noticed. Luke did pretty well also. I missed my baby Mikey still
