I love how you can see their growth, not that they were bad as they started, by all means they weren't but there is a big difference if you listen to SLSP and their current album songs. Lyrical- and musicwise they have shown so much progression. I do hope deeply from my heart that all four of them know about that and can be proud of their growth.
Lyrically? Yeah they've grown, musically? I'm not too sure, obviously is a matter of taste, but the pop-rock with a spice of pop-punk that they had in their earlier days is better musically than their latest releases imo nowadays it mainly focus on voices not instruments, they became a pop band which is not bad but it's more basic musically. I think the main difference is that in their earlier days they were pretty sloppy (at times they were out of tempo or out of tune, or the guitar and bass settings live weren't ideal which made them sound like a school band) they had the attitude but not the experience (all of this coming as an outsider from the fandom, who has friends who were fans of them in 2014-2017 and now has come back to listen to them after all these years)
@@moonfall6978 you are forgetting they arrange all their songs to pop-punk or instrument orient for all their lives though. They have grown in every single sense of the word, to the point they can explore every genre and still make it their own or change it to different versions just like their "The Vault" series. 5SOS is proof that creativity and freedom can't be only one flavor.
@@malihakarim1696 posers for the 90s? Or early 2000s? Yeah maybe but not right now tbh, pop punk nowadays is a genre who is mainly enjoyed by millennials and younger gen x, with pop, it really depends on the artist since you could say Michael Jackson, Backstreet Boys, Lady Gaga, One Direction or Taylor Swift and I'm pretty sure you would know who has the most posers it depends on the era of each artist
It’s really lame when bands rely so much on back tracks. Ffs just bring in some touring musicians to break the parts down if you can’t handle getting close to the studio Ed tracks
not all parts are worth playing live. imagine everyone jumping up and down then you’re there playing chord progressions on keys in whole notes whether you’ll hold them down or you’ll keep stepping on the sustain pedal 🥲
0:22 - No Shame
3:37 - Easier
6:30 - More
9:20 - Complete Mess
13:16 - SLSP
18:30 - Teeth
23:00 Young Blood
You’re doing gods work
I really love how "why can't we choose them" and "mah heart" have become a fan chant🥺
In which songs????
@@insabo3031 I think it's on "More". Luke was drunk in a cocktail chats episode and made the adlibs. Now they've become chants XD
@@kai_yue OMG HE IS NOT OK LOL
thanks!!!!
10:46 Luke and Michael were both like, oh good Calum is singing, time to hydrate 🤣
7:16 "MY HEART" JAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA I LOVE IT
the transition from easier to more is my favourite thing in the whole universe it's just so cool
the absolute serotonin that shoots through my veins during the no shame intro is truly astronomical
The transition is fire
I’m a new 5sos listener and let me just say, this crowd is GIVING! 👏🏼🤩
Calum has the most soothing voice ever ㅠㅠ

@@moonfall6978pop-punk is a actually a more cringe genre than Pop, it's a genre for posers.
