Own a 2021 es350 ultra lux; almost went for the IS, but wanted more “plush.” Truly a beautiful car inside &out - has lots of that Lexus class. Really enjoyed your review - congrats on getting to drive it for a week!
The IS350 is an excellent car. Just powerful enough to be fun, just light enough to be nimble, just big enough to offer space for everyday use, just small enough to not be a cumbersome on touge attacks. Lexus need to make it right and bring the IS back to Europe.
I like to think of this car as the ‘Super Saiyan’ level for the IS model. Some minor and slight cosmetic and performance upgrades like suspension slightly tighter gear ratio. The IS 500 would be the ‘Super Saiyan 2’ level: very very subtle cosmetic changes but noticeably muscular upgrades in power underneath the hood. The IS-F (if it ever comes back) would be a ‘Super Saiyan 3’ with Active aero parts + Engine upgrades + Tranny tweaks. And I have a feeling it’ll be well worth the wait for the new IS-F.
@@storm-shadow1237 goodluck with that M3 after 3 years. it’ll probably end in the junkyard while this IS350 will keep running forever. and there will be the new IS500 and possibly an IS F coming if i wanted performance
The 8 speed is slow on the front end too. It kills me. I had a maxima before and you barely touched the gas and she was gone! 😂. I still haven’t gotten used to the lag in my Lexus and I’ve had it for almost 2 years. Lol Still LOVEEEEE my car tho!!
the 8 speed isnt slow lol, the lag is just from the computer and how it is tuned, a tune fixes that. But the 8 speeds in these cars have some of the fastest torque converter shift speeds
I had a 2020 is350 f sport ultra white that I loved just disliked the infotainment system :((.. traded it in for a 2021 is350 ultra white f sport love the apple car play I use it daily and the touch screen!! Also love the sound system that was great on both.. also the ride was great on my 2020 it’s better on the 2021 much smoother! Love the rear emergency braking it’s saved me in a parking lot! Lol also the blind spot monitoring is better picks up vehicles come along at higher speeds alongside better.
saw this one in motion! awesome looking but unfortunately rear seat room and trunk space is pathetic.... :( but amazing exterior styling! looks great in motion
It’s actually not. It is the new 3.5 2GR-FKS. It has tons of differences from the old 3.5 2GR-FSE. It is a slightly old engine, but why change it? It’s super exciting and super reliable.
No sir you are wrong. Lexus is voted #1 of all car makers year after year as king of reliability. Not sure where you are getting your stats from. Google it and you will see. I do agree with you about Cadillac and even BMW and Mercedes

Man, this ride is sweet! If I had money, bet I'd be getting this. Especially with that awesome red interior. Great review guys 👏💯

I love it!! Can't wait for you guys to review the IS500!

25 years ago when I was in high school, my car in stock form did 0-60 mph in 5.7 seconds. Come on Lexus!
Fantastic review as always y’all! While I’m not the biggest fan of the IS, it definitely is a solid choice!😸
Looks sharp outside 🔥

This is a obtainable dream car for me, so beautiful. Never been big on the spindle grill Lexus's, but it works damn well on this 350 🔥💘

I love my 2018 GS 350 F Sport because of its size although the new IS is beautiful on the outside other than that the GS interior is superior!
Wow. Did someone already damage those wheels at the dealership? On the shot of the front drivers side wheel there’s some pretty obvious curb rash.
This was a press car... and yes someone did. They live rough lives haha
Gorgeous car thank u for sharing
Best camry upgrade
Well thank you for the appreciation at least

Do you guys planning on reviewing the new 2022 Chevy Equinox soon?
We have been waiting for one to arrive in our area but they haven't made it yet
@@CarConfections ripp excited for when you guys get your hands on one 🤞
Hmmm. . . .Too bad the GS is gone. Would you consider this on par with a BMW 330i?
Would you rather daily this or a Civic Type R?
Could you please compare with TLX type S or A spec?
Looks like someone has been running into some curbs lately with that IS
Why review this car now? It’s been out for while. Which do you prefer the rwd. Or the awd?
They should have AWD option 2022 IS500. That's a ton of power to plant
Ihere will only be rear wheel drive on the is 500
All the complaints with the 6 spd auto I don't get it had a 9spd in a tlx and all they do is gear search I will take the 6spd any day
No. Not even close. It’s just a outdated, slow, good looking, reliable, sporty sedan.
Slow? Hahaha maybe compared to a BMW but it’s fast enough.
No memory seats?! Thats a deal killer for me.
🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥!!!!!!
How do I get my hands on a Lexus is500 launch edition?
contact your local lexus dealer.
161 less HP, that’s one hell of a budget.
is android/apple auto play wireless?
No
