The University of Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham just gushed about Bo Nix. Of his own accord he called him an "alpha dog" a "field general" and said that Sean Payton is going to love the commonality between him and Drew Brees. Audric sounds like he might replace Perine this year. If not, he’ll go to the practice squad. Or, if we make the surprise move, we go without a fullback and carry four running backs. I like that because we can have Jaleel in the backfield with one of the other backs and we won’t tip our hand that yes this definitely is a run play.
Totally agree- it’ll be so interesting to see how the kickoff changes the 53 - I’ve heard reliable opinions that we’ll load up on oline and others who think we’ll load up at rb
Interesting year at RB for sure. I think it mostly depends on how good Javonte's looking
3 QBs, 3 RBs (1RB will probably be a FB option).
You can't teach vision or speed. Javonte never had either but he had great identity burst pre-knee. It allowed him to gather a full head where he would then just steamroll dudes.

66.4% comp rate, 9.3 yards per attempt, 88 TDs, 16 INTs, and a 170.8 QB rating? This player threw for over 9,000 yards & added nearly 3,000 more on the ground to go with a whopping 57 TDs rushing. He was a huge winner with a college QB record of 48-7 and two national championships on his resume. He was a 1st round pick in the NFL.
Yep...you're looking at the college resume of Tim Tebow. In the NFL what you did in college is meaningless unless it also prepared you for the NFL game. The college system that Tebow played in did not, & neither did the one Bo Nix played in. Can Nix overcome this? Maybe he can...but we have to wait & see.

lol..i was so happy when Bo Nix left Auburn for Oregon ..and I don't regret it... he was always auditioning for the pros rather than playing college football to win ... let's see how he fares in competitiion with another very average Auburn QB, Jarrett Stidham
Depending on what statistical reports you read, Bo Nix threw somewhere between 28%-37% of his passes behind the line of scrimmage in 2023...not 20%. Regardless of what you think of that, one thing is not in dispute; he won't be duplicating that kind of offense in the NFL. In point of fact, while most people like to emphasize Sean Payton throwing to running backs, the Saints under his direction ran an offense that threw downfield a lot, especially before Drew Brees passed his prime. Payton runs a hybrid scheme that blends elements of both the Bill Walsh West Coast system with the Air Coryell system that stretches the field vertically.

Not to be negative, but All thing Denver Sports, and Rox are really sucking wind coming up clutch at bat 1 for 6 opportunities. Our owners need to up the salaries to improve personnel.

It’s Nix jersey but in our old cut- my wife ordered it for me as a surprise right after draft and it just came in 😝 it’ll be a cool thing to have on wall in man cave in 20 years

Nah this show is great. DNVR doesn’t touch this. I personally can’t watch Zach. Once the old crew left, it just got boring and one sided.
