    How about a video for 10 year olds who are starting to have acne (on chin) and blackheads? Thank you;)

    I know the importance of applying sunscreen every two hours. I have my teen son with acne-prone skin doing it too. We use tinted to prevent hyperpigmentation. However, by midafternoon, it looks too cakey like he is wearing makeup. Do we have to reapply tinted sunscreen every two hours to get the hyperpigmentation protection or can we use tinted in the first application and then do non-tinted subsequently?

      @@reginafrazer7212 You're awesome! I'm here because my 7 year old wants to be more like a grown up so I'm researching ways she can care for her skin safely and not think she needs to use potentially harmful products.

      You are doing great! Actually studies have shown that using anti-aging products when you are too young for them can cause more aging afterwards 😢

    To be honest, kids don’t need skincare, I mean if they want a sheet mask or lip scrub and moisturizer that’s ok, but nothing like toners and acne treatment

    For the ointment treatments like hydrocortisone or triamcimalone I had believed the go on before the moisturizer. Is it best to apply moisturizer first?

    I think those products could also be used by adults who have sensitive skin. Just because something is labeled for kids, doesn’t mean adults can’t use it too.😉 Growing up, all we had to use was Dove Soap to wash with. That’s all my Mom used & when she passed at 90, she had soft skin with few wrinkles. I would say, using a waterproof spf is ok, but not always effective for sweat, simply because sweat Isn’t just water but acids in it as well. A Sweatproof SPF, if you can find one may be better.

    Now that I have a grandchild, I can attest to the importance of a skincare routine including slathering your child with sunscreen. My daughter learned well and protects her daughter’s skin during and after baths and when outside in the sun. It is never too early for a child to learn how to protect her largest organ.

      Unless you or someone you love has had skin cancer, too much sun exposure is perfectly safe.

    • @Menacingly_Standing_There
      @Menacingly_Standing_There 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Live4rmNyc there's a little thing called uv rays that the sun releases, they are dangerous and the whole purpose of our ozone layer is to block as much of it as it can. While enough gets blocked so that it doesn't immediately fry us and give us radiation poisoning, the uv rays that pass through are not good for our skin.

    People don't understand that skincare for kids is mostly a good soap for the face and sunscreen, they wanna give retinol to their kids when actually using things your skin doesn't need yet causes aging earlier in life 😂
