Love the video, your mom is a very good cook. My dad was German but, we never had those noodles and they look very good. Do you eat them plain or what do you put on them? Your chickens sure do produce a lot of eggs. Thanks for sharing.
Hi John , you can really do anything with the spätzle , just like any other noodle , I just love it with a wiener Schnitzel ( pork chop with breadcrumbs) and a good dark gravy on it ! We just thought it’s a good way of using up some eggs Have a good Memorial weekend Be safe Oli and Tacia
Thank you very much and glad you enjoyed watching Yeah she knows how to get things done 😃👍, Hope you have a wonderful Memorial weekend, be safe and have fun Oli and Tacia
Hello guys. What a great way to use up all those eggs. I love pasta anything so it was this video was right up my alley. Your mom is a beautiful lady. ❤. She’s definitely amazing in the kitchen. Take care. Catch you in the next one.

Hi there Friend !! Glad you enjoyed another video of ours !! Yes indeed it was a lot of fun having her show us a few tricks how to make some old traditional hand scraped egg noodles 😃, old days were simpler Hope you have a great week , send some nice sunshine from Bali , we needed 😃😃 Oli and Tacia

Very interesting and delicious looking and so easy. I don't have chickens but can buy a dozen eggs at the Farmers Market. Thank you for the intetesting video. Your mom is terrific.
Interesting, your mums knowledge is amazing , I used to be a coach /bus driver 25 years ago and I spent a lot of time in Germany , driving over from the U.K. weekly , the food is far better over there than here in the U.K. , used to take tourists over to the German Christmas markets too . Great video as always .
Thank you very much !! Always happy to hear from you !! That’s awesome you got to see a lot of places and even in Germany , when you drove a coach ! What places did you get to see there ? Hope you have a wonderful weekend , be safe and see you on the next one Oli and Tacia
@@NORDLAND49 I drove over there for just over 3 years, ferrying children on school foreign exchange trips , so I’d pick up 57 kids here in the U.K. , take them to anther school somewhere in Germany let’s say Berlin ,drop them off they would then stop with there host families , I’d stop in a hotel somewhere provided by the company, then I’d drive to another school somewhere else and take them to another school somewhere else in Europe , then maybe a week or so later I’d be back to Berlin to take the first set of kids back to the U.K. . Used to do the German Christmas markets too , used to drive from the U.K. , out to Aachen , cologne, been to Essen , seen where the wall used to be that separated east and west Germany , been through the Black Forest several times , used to love it , gave it up about 20 years ago and went driving 44 ton trucks around the U.K. instead, I’ve considered going back across there but driving trucks , not coaches, but having a daughter who needs 24/7 care I just couldn’t be away from home that long anymore, I’m still doing distance but only here in the U.K. , most of the time I’m only away from home 2or three nights a week , Charlotte my wife can cope with that . Good days though when I was driving in Europe saw a lot of different places and cultures , got a lot of experience over there .
So fun!! Oli, I can't wait to meet you someday... Tacia you are looking amazing! I have been overrun with eggs atm as well and doing all the preserving I can think of...Gonna have to try this!
Bees looked like they were doing good. I make Spaetzle as well! I used to cut it off a plate with a knife but I found online a Spaetlze maker where you put the batter in the middle and slide it back and forth over the boiling water. It goes super fast! I make spaetlze when I make schnitzel or rouladen.....it's our favorite!!!!!! Sometimes we will make it with kessler ribs but normally with those we make Knodels (sp). (bread dumplings but I am sure you knew that) Looking forward to seeing what you do with that pop-up
Thank you Kristin for watching our video again and the great comments !!!! Haven’t had Rouladen in a looong time lol Now have to make some 😃😃, We need to make some more Spaetzle next few weeks , using what you recommended . Hope you have a great week , see you on the next one , Oli and Tacia
