    My favorite watch. Beautiful in its simplicity.

    Great video! Only video I’ve found of servicing a reverso

    I bought my wife a reverso 5 years ago for our anniversary I was so jealous and she returned the favor this year. I’m a watch enthusiast and have owned many Rolex, Omega, Cartier, Tudor and now I’m a proud owner of a Reverso Tribute Duoface Calendar. 49.4x29.9 mm What I love about it the most is that it’s a self wind so it’s much more personal. You have a closer relationship with your watch because you need to constantly wind the watch. It’s wonderful to hear the pallet tic as you wind the watch. It’s my favorite watch. This gentleman is right, it was made to be a sports watch but here in America, we wear it as a dress watch since it has a beautiful leather band. They only use leather from an Argentinian leather company. So even JLC uses the best parts for their time pieces. JLC, a watchmakers watch. Just a small bit of criticism. Please look into getting a manicure my French friend. It will be more appealing to your subscribers like me. I’m a new subscriber. Thank you

    These are such stunning watches, I wish I could afford one. I really liked the shot at 19:50 with the close up of the dial. Beautiful detail on that dial

    Nekkid posted a video on this same watch about a week ago. I had never seen one before. You and him both do such great work, I love both your channels and all the other guys too. Keep up the great work.

    Nice work, enjoyed the video! The watch design is outstanding and a bit weird. For the rich ones only :)

    Love the Reverso, it's truly an art piece. I was wondering if you know where I might get technical drawings of the Reverso (with accurate measurements)? I want to make a 3D printed model the size of a small clock, for my bedside or wall.

    Nice job! Coincidence that you and Joe both did a reverse recently! Which movement holder are you using for such small ones?

    What size and type of screwdriver do you use to unscrew the screws connecting the lugs to the caseback?

    • @FrenchWatchCollector
      @FrenchWatchCollector  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use Horotec screwdriver but I don't remember the size for these screws

    A more practical mind would've just gotten a flexible strap or bracelet on his/her ordinary watch and turned the watch dial side facing down during a round of Polo, but where's the Sport in that? 😋

    • @FrenchWatchCollector
      @FrenchWatchCollector  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hahah. That is a good solution but maybe a little bit less panache

    • @alanmckinnon6791
      @alanmckinnon6791 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well it was done in 1923 or thereabouts, flexible straps and bracelets didn't really exist yet

    I feel sorry for the watch when you snap it back like that. You are supposed to slide it in place horizontally, not snapping it vertically.

    It's a Jäger, not a cheche... [Yay=Gr].

    • @FrenchWatchCollector
      @FrenchWatchCollector  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Soory but being a french suisse brand the pronunciation is right. Look an official video from Jaeger and you will see how they say it

      In the Netherlands it’s pronounced “tie-mex”

    I've had one for about a decade. These are amazing watches and even with the tiny and thin movement, you rarely have to set the time. Some years ago I had a vintage one and I kept the bracelet which I've put on my classique. It's a great everyday watch which doubles as a discrete and attractive bracelet.
