Here's a tip and cool detail. The stairs out in the forest/woods are actually a folklore or fairy tale. About Rangers randomly finding a set of house stairs deep in the woods. They say never to go near them because it would take you to another dimension, or you would see horrors beyond your own comprehension.I don't remember it that well.
I remember another early take on it was just grievous injury - If I remember correctly supposedly the person who climbed up had both their forearms sliced clean off, kind of reminded me of skinwalker ranch the way they described it.

A tiny tip of Source Engine advice for you: There is actually a way to prevent the "bald spot" issue on character heads that you see at certain distances and angles like at 2:34. Open up the head texture in VTFEdit, hit "Clamp S" and "Clamp T" on the "Flags" list on the left, and save the file. The problem happens because the engine tries to use lower mips of the texture at certain angles and distances, but because of how the head texture is applied to the head model, lower mips cause the bottom of the texture to appear on the top of the head. Clamping the texture makes it so that it doesn't do this.
God your animations, every single one, is so good! I loved seeing those cool park ranger models used. I've messed around with them myself, I never expected to see them used in an sfm animation lol
