    Right now, northwest Arkansas can still nip traffic congestion in the bud. So, they should work on that by bringing in intercity passenger rail service.

      Turning US 412 from Springdale to I-35 west of Tulsa into an interstate should take a higher priority over extending I-49 into Fort Smith. The growth and traffic is in NWA, not FS.

    Yes,there is hills there
    (I was there back in April this year)which is a good thing,making it less vulnerable to tornadoes.

    Fayetteville is certainly less of a college town than it was when I moved here in 1995. That’s a good thing in my opinion. While the college is important of course, a city like Fayetteville in a region like NWA can and should be diverse in its economy and standing.

      Yeah, except when I went back to school a while back to finish a degree, I never really notice the university or the students. Of course, I'm not big on night life, not involved with any businesses that cater to students, and don't usually drive around the busy parts of town on a game day. I'm skeptical of the rentals objection voiced here, as most student oriented rentals aren't going to be located in areas where single family housing dominates. One nice fringe benefit associated with the university is the free bus system, which is not limited to students. It mostly only goes where students are interested in going, but I have found it helpful on a couple of occasions, as there's a stop a few hundred yards from where I live.

      100% agree my friend… Lots of commerce, development of commercial, etc.… But truth be told what town is the same as it was 30 years ago… Especially a growing community. Thank you so much for your input. I truly appreciate it.

      I appreciate the input, my friend. There are a couple other videos on my channel that talk about weather… One is springtime, the other is winter. Of course don’t forget summer months June July, August are going to be our hottest, stickiest, and you’ll want to probably be near an air conditioner :-). Thank you for watching… What else?

    Sounds like Fayettevile would be a great town for serious bicyclists to train in, kinda like Austin, Texas.

    • @LivinginBentonville
      @LivinginBentonville  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’m not too familiar with the topography of Austin but yes, there’s plenty enough hills to do hill repeats, also going south toward the Boston Mountains You’ll be able to get longer hill, climbs in if for traditional Road bike training… and of course, mountain bike training as well :-) thanks for watching

    Do you have good Italian & Mexican restaurants? Chinese is a plus. Are the KC Chiefs the regional AFC game? Homes available with at least 2 acres? This is all I need.

    • @LivinginBentonville
      @LivinginBentonville  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      In my opinion, we have great restaurants of all varieties… Although some folks moving from different parts of the country that have more authentic spots, where they come from tend to say, they can’t find any good “insert your desired food preference” type of restaurants here. Unfortunately, we see more of NFC cowboy games get played on TV. However, the Chiefs are rooted for in our house as well, my friend… We have use Sunday ticket, TH-cam TV, etc. and or go down to the local sports bar to watch if we can’t get it on our own for whatever reason. House with 2 acres… Depends on how much you want to spend. Let’s connect and thanks for watching.
