I agree with you on some points and don't agree with another. You don't need a bodybuilding body to ride Fatboy or big HD bikes. All you need is skills, and skills you get it from keep training. I have 2 HD bikes. breakout and street glide. I have also Honda Valkyrie 1832 CC. Believe me, it took me a while until I master the Honda. Luckily I had the Honda first and when I got the 2 HD , it's was so easy to ride and have full control of the 2 big Harley Davidson. This is proof that practice and experience are the most important factors. Other than that, I agree , HD is not the perfect motorcycle. The technology is behind but this is what we call it classic. Is like you have a modern BMW full of technology , and you have 1950 classic car and you enjoy both.
Bodybuilding by means , in general most of the Indian body frame is very lean and not very strong even to handle Harley on bumper to bumper traffic . I am from hyderabad too

I have been riding the 2016 for a while now....the suspension issue has been addressed, but not to an extent that it is smooth as butter. Good review Zohair!
Subtitles would have been nice so I might have been able to help you with your concerns about the bike,also I think I noticed where you were riding it and at those low speeds with an air cooled bike expect some additional happiness learning how to replace the top end every year or two and change out your oil filter twice a season and use the best oil you can afford every time you can purchase more and the bike might last a few years?Add an extra 10 lbs of tension to your belt drive if you put any kind of upgrades to your power output!!! Your welcome... ;)

Great review. As an American living in India considering upgrading from the Enfields I've ridden for 9 years to a W800, HD 883 or Triumph, this was extremely helpful -- great description of how everything on the 883 (suspension, engine heat, brakes, handling, etc.) plays out on the reality of Indian roads.
regarding suspension, its an easy fix. you can buy aftermarket rear shocks for the 883 and some of them can raise the back an inch more. a proper shock setup for your weight can totally transform the ride.
I was riding a HD 48 on NH 45 to trichy I had to encounter a renovation work on the highway that time I had to put my full body weight to countersteer the bike while I hit the Rocky road man that's a great experience

I'm glad to see an honest video for a change. I own my third Harley at this time and can only know most Harley videos are FAKED and are either feminist based or Harley delaer hoaxing. I like the part in this vid where the guy explains that on the fat boy you need to be somewhat a muscle builder. So true! Especially on the Harley softail like I have. The weight is compacted on the softail and at 700 pounds is much heavier based on the longer 95 inch length but the center of gravity is much heavier But these hoax videos I see often show and tell of petite women supposedly owning softail Harley classics and these are models, but it never shows them actually riding them and the few times it does you can tell that pictures were cropped in where a woman is placed sitting on one riding it down the road. I know how cropping is done and picture stacking is done so I notice right away. Its rare for any woman to even be riding a Harley sportster and so you can be sure no women are riding road kings or fat boys or softails. I am 6 ft tall and weigh 180 lbs and I assure you no one smaller than myself can get on my 02 softail 1450 Harley and kick it off its stand and hold it and ride it. BS walks and reality is reality

Ok may be he is a little bit too casual for safety concerns, but his review is really practical and reliable, and yes he said one thing totally true about us Indians, we really like to use those fancy terms like top speed, pick up, etc, but really miss the basic essence or soul of a bike which is the feeling it gives while you are riding it or like how does one really associate himself with his bike, it becomes like "who has a better toy" like contest in the end which feels stupid to a real biker!!, in that too there are a handful of critics who are actually aware of what they are talking about.. :)

I went out to buy a iron 883 after your review i discuss with harley davidson showroom manager about problem which you mentioned in this video. he shocked when i said this bike have some problem. He gave me test ride of iron 883, the temperature was about 45 C. I drove iron 883 in whole chandigarh as well on highway about more than 100 km/h and also in traffic. when i came back to harley davison showroom, a problem which i faced. I felt something is heating under the seat. I become shocked when i smelled engine. the engine was overheated like royal enfield. everything is ok but air colled system is not good in this bike. otherwise, riding on this bikes is like a king.
Bro I learnt to ride on a splendor and got an iron right after that,it is so damn easy to ride the bike,and I've riden the fat boy too,I don't see why people tell it's difficult to ride it,it is such an easy bike ride .

Karthiprathika Shiva Hyosung is cheap & stylish looking for that price. But the stylish look dont last long due to the plastic body. More over Radiator problem is a big head ache in Hyosung bikes. In my opinion its just a piece of korean shit.

Practice in indian roads you will have so many fatal close calls in a day...you wont be so forgiving.
