Maxwell's Vlog hater? He was being an honest local. I’m from KL too and this place can be so congested with illegal immigrants and littered with trash on the streets. Maybe you’ve just seen the high-rise areas of KL. Try exploring places besides the city centre and see for yourself 😂

We visit Malaysia (KL) twice a year. I miss Pavillion (Foodcourt) Suria for the Sushi and Massage at Thai oddessy, Midvalley (Thai restaurant Amarin). Chilling and relaxing! The cheap Cinema :-) Even with 3 kids KL is so great. Here (The Netherlands) we have cold rains and bad weather my bones hurt hahaha I need the Sun and warm weather and good food. Time to go back!

    • @WestCoastAce27

Noor Noor Agree - Pavillions mall is great; no need to travel out of the city center. The food court has a lot of quality options, not cheap unhealthy food. Went last yr and stayed about 100 meters away; like it so much going back in a few weeks. Can’t wait.

10:02 it's bubble tea (also known as boba). Malaysians especially the teens drink it a lot these days but I recommend teh tarik (our national drink). You can get it at mamak restaurants where you should also try roti canai and cheese naan which you won't regret. Cheers!

NU Sentral is because it is located beside public transportation which is very convenient. Mid Valley would be because it have nicest shops to go too. By the way, please visit the malls in KL again next month (Christmas month). They would have a lot of wonderful Christmas decorations.

I never realised there are these gardens inside 1 Utama lol. I’m local and whenever I reach 1utama, all I do there is go straight to Isetan for my favourite Ramen, get boba somewhere downstairs, then go catch a movie. Repeat next weekend. I thought I have seen all of 1U already 😂.. thank you for this.

The biggest mall that I've ever been in was the West Edmonton Mall in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada back on the 80s before it expanded. At that time it was the World's largest mall and probably only half as big as it is now. Today it's the World's 5th largest and this mall in Malaysia is actually bigger. I think that future cities would have these underground mega malls ( since there's more room to expand underground) built maybe a half mile or 1KM underground.

Tiger Sugar is one of the most famous bubble tea (boba) outlets in Malaysia. These boba outlets are always crowded because of the Bubble Tea phenomenon happening right now idk why it happens (not a huge fan)
You should try it once if you want to fit in but anyway it's not representing Malaysia, bubble tea concept is from Taiwan/China so you should try teh tarik/teh ais cincau instead

Go up to Genting Highlands Resort if you want really aircon, temperatures can drop to 11 degrees sometimes and it's super cold at night. There is an hourly bus service from KL Sentral station which only cost RM18.00 one way, inclusive of the cable car ride up to the skyway shopping mall and the journey time is only about an hour. Up there, you won't ran out of place to spend your money, especially inside those Genting Hotel casinos....hehehe
