    Honestly, I’m surprised at the amount of non-Muslim Malaysians online trying their best to claim Malaysia is not a Muslim country… Seems like some people are trying to change the narrative about Malaysia? But why is it bad to be considered a Muslim country? Do people not realize that Muslim empires in the past were very diverse and multicultural… A country can be a Muslim country and still have lots of diversity and religious freedom. Maybe Malaysia can be the model Muslim country that other Muslims can follow and allow diversity to thrive in their nations as well 🤔 regardless, let’s learn to be tolerant of each other and have respect for each other as fellow human beings 🙏🏽

      It’s not bad to be considered a Muslim country, it’s just propaganda from the west that made it seem like all Muslims are “backwards” or “terrorists”…. unfortunately, so many people around the world swallowed this propaganda. But slowly, people are waking up because the hypocrisy of the West and those who dislike Muslims is being exposed on a massive scale. Glad that many people around the world are waking up 👏🏽

      @@ExploreWithAli786 We don’t fall for the trap from the Western side. ;) However, in recent years, some segments of the Muslim Malaysian community have become more intolerant towards the existence of other cultures and are pushing to transform the country into something akin to Iran or Saudi Arabia. If you think those countries reflect our values, think again! Malaysia has a rich history of multiculturalism and diversity that we must strive to preserve.
      While we celebrate our differences-whether it’s Chinese New Year, Wesak Day, Easter, Christmas, Diwali, or Thaipusam-we need to ensure that tolerance remains a cornerstone of our identity.
      Let’s embrace our uniqueness and continue to promote harmony among all cultures and religions in our beloved Malaysia!

      The Jewish people have a 3,500-year connection to the land of Israel. Contrary to popular belief, Jews were not truly exiled by the Romans or Byzantines, but lost their status during the Arab conquest in the 7th century. They were dispossessed and scattered globally, but never gave up on their dream of returning. In the 19th century, they began coming back to their ancestral homeland, which was largely barren. Mark Twain visited Jerusalem and Judea in 1867 and he said it was a barren land with hardly any people. Their return and development attracted Arab immigration from nearby countries. These newcomers now call themselves Palestinians and claim long-standing ownership of the land. However, the Jewish people have the rightful claim based on their ancient connection and recent revival of the land. They willing to coexist with Palestinians, but they assert their right to a Jewish state. The conflict persists because Palestinians, representing the colonial Arab conquest, refuse to accept the existence of a Jewish state in what the Jewish people consider their ancestral home. The Jewish people have a valid claim to the land and they have the right to defend their land from Arab immigrants aka Palestinians

    Malaysia is nothing like Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iran, Iraq, Morocco, or Egypt. We are a truly diverse nation, celebrating a wide range of public holidays, including Chinese New Year, Wesak Day (Buddha’s Birthday), Easter, Christmas, Diwali, and Thaipusam. The Borneo states even have additional holidays that reflect their unique traditions!
    With a 60% Muslim majority and Islam as the state religion, Malaysia is not ruled by Muslim law, which sets us apart from many other Muslim countries. You can find mosques, churches, Buddhist temples, and Hindu temples coexisting harmoniously everywhere.
    In many ways, we are even more diverse than the USA! I have yet to see any Muslim or Christian country as tolerant of other cultures as Malaysia. We are truly unique, standing apart from both Western Christian nations and Middle Eastern Muslim states.

    It is a multi-cultural country. Go to Sabah and Sarawak and say that it is a Muslim country and see what they will say. The native originally here is not Muslim.

    • @mnbr6884
      @mnbr6884 22 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Addendum: Sabah and Sarawak have no official religion. They used to be both Christian majority but Sabah is now Muslim majority due to ethnic gerrymandering by the government. Sarawak is barely holding on. If you see East Malaysians being contentious about the country's religious status, this is why. They are responding to decades of Federal encroachment on them in which Islam plays a big part. The uploader has good intentions but has unwittingly provoked a triggering subject for many Malaysians.

    • @kklum6998
      @kklum6998 22 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@mnbr6884 Very informative. Thank you. The true native of Malaysia has always been the orang asli. Unfortunately, the politicians are the culprit making it a religious issue. Btw religion and politics do not mix because a country or nation needs intelligence, skills, and not faith alone. Take Kelantan for example, faith brought them where they are and they are trying to pull other states along with them. Yes, I agree that the uploader did not intentionally cause this issue of religion, and that is why I am correcting his statement. Some commenters keep on flaming Islamphobia as a reason for non muslim stating this fact. Majority does prove that it is fact.

    To those who offended when many Malaysian who is true native here called this country is Muslim Country it is true and far more true than calling this country as Secular Country. It’s never been in any Pelembagaan Persekutuan that state this is Muslim Country what so ever. It’s also never state that this is Secular country. So as Majority, with Democracy and as a Native, this country will always be “Muslim Country and also Muslim Majority Country that is multiracial, and accept anyone to follow any religion”
