The oil from the coconut acts as a very good wood treatment and leaves a decent shine...again..Filipino improv in full effect. I learn so much when im there.
Nice goin, puts a bit of polish on the floor. 👋G'day Miguel! Liking this place a bit more than Angeles. That cake shop look pretty kool and look like they make some rippa cakes, made me a little hungry.
Thanks for the tour Brian. We have nothing like that in the midwest. lol I don't remember seeing a walk around of businesses in Dapa before, just General Luna. Hope the rest of the year is good for you and the family. Phil
The Palengkes are the best especially in the provinces. Bangus, Talapia, Pusit, the fish ports are excellent. This is one of the best videos I have seen with the Philippines. We live in Cavite and it's great to visit these markets in Bayan.
Hunger can make people do all kinds of weird stuff. At least he left you alone after he got some food. The only problem is that now when he sees you, he might just automatically think that if he pushes you that you will give him money or food. What a great walk. I would have a difficult time not wanting to stop and eat everything, especially at that bakery. Hahaha.
Proof that your vlogs were never about Walking Street. Coincidentally, anything related to that area fell off my algorithm. Merry Christmas to you and your fam.
Love you Philly, your the best. I don't understand your journey but you the man. I guess you have something to prove. Your a cool cat and when you change your mind about this naked but not afraid thing. You and yours are welcome in Colorado. Keep the good fight my Saint Philly
Everywhere I go in the Philippines i run into those guys. I always try to give food and they are very greatfull which surprised me at first because here in Canada if you do that they get angry, they want money for drugs. Always carry some food if you can.
You're a better man than I, Philly. When beggars grab, slap, block, chase, follow me into a store, or stand over me when I'm eating, I'm not giving them anything.
When a beggar comes to you, learn to say this "pasensya, wala ako dala pera, nasa asawa ko". You give one time, every time they see you, they're keep bothering you.
Just wishing you and your family a MERRY XMAS and HAPPY NEW YEARS EAST COAST USA , 3 hours north of your hometown , YES DRONES FLYING HERE OVER MY HOUSE NO B.S. Wish I was there GOD BLESS CIAO
As a retired C/O like you, I was wondering how close you were going to let that guy walk up behind you. I'm glad there wasn't any serious trouble though.
Siargao was named 17th of 22 best places to visit in Asia by Lonely Planet on Tuesday. FM radios in Manila were raving about it. You are living in a great place Brian 👍
Coconut husk is what Filipino use to clean the wooden floors. It works a like a buffer, without the power use. We ain’t lazy like the westerners are. Every daily chores requires motivation, strength, and discipline. Which a lot of westerners no longer have nowadays. Have fun bro and I really enjoy your content Merry Christmas to you and your love ones my brother. 👨🏻 “pautang” at the bakery is really funny man😂😂😂
There's also a cloud forming over foreign bloggers in foreign countries. Caused by a number of youthful idiots creating trouble for clicks in Asian countries and other shenanigans. I would ask first before filming in to shops. It shows a good level of respect. You are in Mindanao after all. So with it's beauty comes its ways. Be safe good man, and remember, you are not just in the Philippines, you are in their home as well.
In general the Philippines is much safer than the usa, I remember when your wife was robbed at knife point in ac, when out in public we can never let our guard down, in my borongay is safer than any street in usa, the borongay captain is my neighbor, and some officers live down the road, I'm in shouting distance for help, I don't even take keys out of my bikes, I have 6 of them, leave the keys in my cars, in 15 years never a problem with anyone, but I'm still aware of my surroundings when outside
@@PhillyinthePhilippines But that guy wanted a sale for his family and Christmas. You denied it so you can make a few dollars on the video. Do you think the guy is jumping for joy he was on your video for nothing?
You probably didnt know him since he lived on Negros, but Mark Thornton from Every Man Has a Strory passed away. He has a young kid with a Filipina there and supposedly she cant access funds. This is all 2nd, 3rd hand ect. He was a big time Vlogger interviewing lots of old azz expats. Very dad especially this time of year. Take care and hope you are well in the rain.
Yes I feel so bad😢…..I heard Jen and the baby moved in with her sister. The car is not at the house. Kevin lives on the same property and was there when the ambulance showed up. Kevin has a channel as well….
That was funny! Lut telling you to ask if you can have credit. Hahahaha

You still have a lot to learn about the Philippines! The main thing is just don’t show off too much!
He isn't aggressive to everyone - only towards the foreigner. Expect your new "friend" to be looking out for you the next time you come into town.
Merry Christmas Brian to you and your family 😊

Brian got Joed 😂

Times are tough....everywhere.
Brian,do you find it rains there more then Angeles?
As a retired C/O like you, I was wondering how close you were going to let that guy walk up behind you. I'm glad there wasn't any serious trouble though.
Best not to fight with locals.
@NicolasLampkin-qr4rx I know, I was stationed over there for many years. But you can't just stand there and let someone hurt you either.
You're the man with the cash. The locals now know.

It really is a special place!
They stuff the squid with onions, tomatoes and garlic and grill it. If they don’t over grill it, it’s really tasty!
You look like the astronauts on the planet of the apes that just got off the spaceship. After they had been asleep for years .
Miguel… the real jungle boy! My favorite
Green honey is from jollibee.
I don't understand with that house where your living is it your house or their house it's confusing to me.
Whats the significance of "215"?.. I've never seen that before but then, I haven't seen everything, lol.
Philadelphia area code.
@@RollinCoco-Nut Ahhh, OK..
Hey Philly "DAMA" is the filipino version of "CHECKERS", same rules
Hope that weird guy doesn't seek you out everytime you go to the market from now on and harass you until you buy him something
I only ever had a guy get aggressive with me once in Manila but he was obviously on drugs or mentally disturbed

Care to throw any more shade to westerners? Lol I am part Filipino but I can't disagree more.
Yeah like the garbage everywhere is the shining example of diligent work.....
One question: How do you handle your diabetes, im a type 2 diabetes, and I'm going to be there in June .
Wouldn't you just stock up your medicine so it lasts during your stay?
that is big squid

You truly didn’t purchase that honey after wasting that gentleman’s time by shoving a camera in his face?
It wasn’t about the honey, it was about the story
