King Moko is a fight where you don't keep fighting the adds. Focusing too much on board clean up when boss killing ends the fight regardless of how messy the board is. His mechanic does nothing if you don't kill his minions and then just becomes a big bag of hit points. Defensive plus focus dmg wins that fight easy.
The way I consistently beat him was when I realized his DMG+ effect can be used to buff my own units. So I used quick low-DMG attacks on him and then directed my now-overpowered units' attacks where needed.
I love the art style and the atmosphere of the game. The ambiental and at the same time combat music helps with the immersion. This is truly great. I am a sucker for this kind of games.
@@emmanuelle7662 that's weird... I literally downloaded the demo off steam yesterday without any issues. There was a page for the full game where you could wishlist it and a separate page for the demo...
Absolutely love the music in this game (and I'm hoping they'll include a soundtrack to listen to outside the game). The gameplay is so fast-paced that a demo I only planned to try a while is now something I keep coming back to. Definitely getting this when I am able to!
Chucklefish didn't make Wildfrost, they're the publisher, and part of that deal is marketing which is why they gave Wanderbots a ring, but I think it should be mentioned that Deadpan Games and Gaziter are the game developers. At least, according to the Steam page.
I wish he moved his leader up during the ending of the fight against first boss. Yes he still won but the tool tip told no lie. But still great video love the look of the game as well.
You played the healer, then immediately next turn put your healer and dps in discard to heal them...effectively wasting the turn placing the healer. She and the dps both took 2 dmg. Healer heals for 2 dmg to all allies.
@@Omar_Al_Seddik Sounds like an exaggeration especially when talking about a demo. I was pointing out something in an attempt at being in a constructive manner. What you just said, whether exaggerated or not, is both not kind and not constructive/helpful to the entertaining influencer who was playing the game.
Huh. Strategically a bit different than most like this, absolutely gorgeous art direction, all the nice polish gubbins. I'm sold in 3 minutes flat. Shame it's Chucklefish. I still remember Starbound.
What a gorgeous art style. Chucklefish never cease to impress me. I hope they thrive with this game, seems awesome
Thank you! The artist for Wildfrost is the amazing Gaziter - give them a follow :D
@@Chucklefish one day I would like to work with you guys
The polish and fact units have their own attacks gives me massive monster train vibes, which can only be a good thing
I ADORE the sound effects that this game is using, especially for the Redraw bell.
Thank you so much! Glad you like them :)

This game looks like so much fun and I really enjoy the simple but colorful art style!
So many games lately have horrible art styles or the theme is death or evil crap so this game is definitely a fresh breath. Day one for me.
Examples?
Genuinely beautiful art style. I hope it's actually fun to play and has replayability. Might be the true successor to slay the spire and monster train
I'd die for Big Berry.
The presetation on this one is the best of all cards roguelike i ever seen
This game looks right up my lane. Been following for awhile can't wait for the public demo
Demo is available on steam :)
@@halfgrin it isn't any.kee
@@halfgrin Yeah, there seems to be an entry for a demo, but it leads to the main page and nothing to download

For some reason, the usual button to download the demo isn't there, but down and to the right is a different Download Demo button.

This music is amazing as well!
Glad you like it! :)
This is an incredible game!
I was looking for a new Roguelike Deckbuilder and i think this one might be it! Looks really cool
Looks like you can actually put the charms on your other cards to not just on characters...
This feels like Bad North if it was made by Cartoon Network
Lol yeah it does
Looks absolutely delightful and though yeah, there are a lotta options in the genre now I totally expect to give this a go once it's out.
Game's public demo is available on Steam; 'Download Demo' button isn't in the usual place. Find it in the right panel.
Thanks for playing our frosty lad! ❄

He made dozens of bigger mistakes and bad plays throughout the playthroughs.
