    Was in boot camp in San Diego many years ago and it was nice weather wise, here in So TX 90-107 deg, 80+ humidity, attics 120+, walk outside and get ready to be drenched in sweat. West TX is a dry heat like being in a oven. We have a cool front this week, its been 90 - 98.

      @@andrewveres3965 started my career in AZ. San Diego is very different in that there are not enough true service techs to keep up with service work. In hot places there are a lot of guys that can fix shit, not so much here

    Whew! Heat wave saga. What a rough streak, but we're glad you survived and put up this compilation. I loved the pump running in heat mode -- you never know what you're gonna find.

    Those caps are spenzzive .. I've thought about carrying them, but i just reach for the titan pros, 😂

      @@TX-EddyHVAC I charge $325 and $375 for the whole visit when I install them. They never fail. I tell people I’ll replace it for free within five years as that’s amrad’s warranty

    • @TX-EddyHVAC
      @TX-EddyHVAC 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That's wassup. I have seen those damn amrads last a very long time. It's good value but definitely hurts to buy them in bulk. I'm just cheap as hell lol

      I find the Titan Pro caps only last a couple years or so. I switched to Jard caps made in Mexico.

    • @TX-EddyHVAC
      @TX-EddyHVAC 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @jonhvac I haven't had problems with them, but I've just started using them. I may need to consider switching. I used to buy Titan Pro hd, but I was working for a warranty company that was cheap as hell. I would rather have quality parts, to be honest. Those amrads I've seen last a while for sure. Haven't really used cards, but I've seen them out in the field.

      @@TX-EddyHVACWhat warranty company isn't cheap? Haha. I just had to replace a Titan Pro cap that I installed exactly 2yrs ago. Some might say 2yrs isn't that bad but, it isn't that good either lol. I'm still testing the Jard caps. I know the old GE made in Mexico caps would last 10yrs give or take. So that's my hope with the Jard caps.
