Best advice I heard so far on the mattresses. None of the other reviews are even reviews they just straight away read points from company websites.

The first myth is the worst one of the lot! Personally, I HATE firm mattresses. 😣
Very helpful, thanks. What would you suggest for a quality top layer for people allergic to latex? Even if not touching the latex, I breathe it in.
Every orthopedic doctor that I've ever read clearly states if you sleep on your back only, you want a firm bed. However, ideally it's best to sleep on your side and preferably your left side. If you have a bad back then sinking into a soft mattress and having to twist yourself out of bed in what would equate to being a 'hot dog bun' is more stressful on your back. I have a bad back, a medium-firm is my choice, I have an IntelliBed Midnight and my wife's is their Nightfall in our split King.
.. I also realize Purple purchased IntelliBed, my same mattress is now called the Purple Rejuvenate Premier.
.. I stopped watching after the latex explanation. Most latex beds are pure latex often with spring support and judging on your front curvature the bed will outlive you or for that matter me. Otherwise the only breakdown would be spillage, a bad spring, or the breakdown of the wool or cotton surrounding materials.
So, why would 5 star hotels use mostly name brand beds if name brand beds weren't the most comfortable and durable? Just asking.
I would LOVE to get a mattress from your company and escape the name brand rat race of trying to find a good mattress that's worth the money and helps me get a good night's sleep!! But I live in Canada and I have no idea where to go for a similar product near where I live 😢

Myth #6 - These online mattress companies make their own mattress....These online companies are just marketing companies that developed a website and gave their brand a silly name (like Saatva, Avocado, Helix, Wink, Casper, ect)
"Less is More," is my mantra for working out, makes sense in looking for a mattress

What do you think of the Avocado organic mattress ? I know it's expensive.
I tried it in store. Its dunlop. I didnt like it. But try it out yourself. Some people like dunlop.

Does latex cause sweat?
I bought the Mattress Makers hybrid mattress with the talalay latex and it’s the coolest and most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on…I believe the Dunlop latex sleeps warmer.
Talalay latex will sleep cooler than Dunlop. I'd say that latex doesn't promote a cooler sleep, but it is usually ventilated to promote airflow. Pretty temperature neutral. If you're hot natured or sleep hot, definitely look for something that has an active cooling surface.
