As I drummer I feel sorry for those drums :D If I were to smash the shit out of my drums set the way he does, I were to buy a new one every day XD Saw Halestorm live with Alter Bridge, great show and amazing bands!
Mike Portnoy of Adrenaline Mob? I know he was touring with them at the time but having Dream Theater drummer would get more clicks plus it's what he was more known for

Amo Ronnie James Dio. Adrenaline Mob é uma puta banda, ou pelo menos era. Halestorm é legal pra caralho, Lzzy Hale é facil uma das melhores vocalistas da história do Rock/Metal. Nesse mesmo dia ainda teve participação de um outro vocalista que eu amo: Tim Ripper Owens no show do Adrenaline fazendo cover Black Sabbath da fase Dio e eu perdi tudo isso. Esse poderia ter sido um dos melhores shows. Perdi por uma boa razão, mas ver os videos no youtube desse dia me deixa meio puto
Do you want them to grow a third arm or something? Everyone loves to criticize every drummer that isn't Bonham, Peart, or Moon. Arejay and Mike are 2 of the best living drummers.
Sam Solomon Arejay is obviously talented, but he's a Bonham clone like 1000 others. Shame he didn't use his skills to push the envelope instead of just cashing in on an existing formula created 40 yrs ago. Good luck to him

Jon Bonham is amazing no doubt. But you can only do so much on the drums just like on the guitar,it's all been done before & those older drummers like Jon Bonham,Keith Moon of "The Who". Garry Peterson of "The Guess Who". John Densmore of "The Doors". Marc LaFrance of "BTO". Jerry Edmonton of "Steppinwolf". Doug Clifford of "CCR".Bill Ward of Black Sabbath. Peter Criss of KISS.Among many other drummers who were there in the beginning that set the standard. But there's plenty of the "NEW" generation of rock drummers that are amazing such as Gene "The Atomic Clock" Hoglan of Testament,Death,Strapping Young Lad,Dethklok.Joey Jordison of Slipknot,Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater/Avenged Sevenfold. Etc.

Guitarists like Petrucci from Dream Theater have re-set the bar. Drummers like Mangini and Donatti show independence, technique and groove light years ahead of any of the guys you named. Arejay you fuckin kick ass on drums, This I think is one of the best drum solo/duo's I have ever seen.
He's improved a lot since '05. He's become much more musical.
I never had seen RJ jump like that on the drums before!! Then you have MP coming on stage FANTASTIC solo!
