I've been using Barbas to help with my artifact hunting and I think I came up with a paradox. Barbas is an immortal companion. You must sacrifice a follower in your quest for the Ebony Mail. What if you bring Barbas? Will you be able to still complete the quest AND his own quest line for the mask or will Barbas actually die?
For those wondering which ones are considered to be easily missable (usually from doing the wrong thing or an NPC dying) here's the list (in case you want to get them out of the way first): 2:28 - Daedric Artifact 3 - Ebony Blade 4:41 - Daedric Artifact 5 - Mace of Molag Bal 5:41 - Daedric Artifact 6 - Masque of Clavicus 6:34 - Daedric Artifact 7 - Mehrunes' Razor 8:46 - Daedric Artifact 9 - Ring of Namira 10:24 - Daedric Artifact 11 - Savior's Hide/Ring of Hircine 11:12 - Daedric Artifact 12 - Skull of Corruption 12:30 - Daedric Artifact 14 - Volendrung
You can get both the saviors hide and the ring. Dont kill the warewolf, go outside cave, speak to the ghost, then go back in and kill warewolf quickly, then ghost appears again and gives you saviors hide
Spent an entire day going through all of these. Time well spent. Thank you for the content. These are some of the most fun items I've found. I recommend people make a list of save #'s so that way if one gets mess up then you can easily return to the manual saves. I was so worried one was wrong without me knowing but I got it. Huge sigh of relief. Still upset I couldn't have Barbas walk around with me for the rest of time, though. Loved that scamp.
And this is the comment which helped me the most, because I missed Mehrunes' Razor, but I got the achievement anyway by getting both ring and hide. Thank you!
Most important tip of all is to make periodic full saves (not just quicksaves). Collect the quest results you actually want, then go back in time at your leisure to get the reward you need for the achievements. Just in case there are kids out there who need this tip! Enjoy :)
So say i played for 200 hours and went past the skull of corruption. I can go back to an old save, get the skull staff make a save then i can go back to my regular save i dont have it on? As if the game thinks i have it but on the main save i dont? Just trying to make sure thats what you mean

Just a heads up to anyone on their first playthrough trying to grind through the trophy list, if you are like me and stopped doing the main story line quite early on to focus on other trophies, be careful when trying to go for Oblivion Walker, as one of the quests (Ogham Infinium), requires you to be past the elder knowledge part of the main story and if you force the quest and get Septimius killed at the end before you do up to that part in the main story it will actually glitch out your main story questline and you will be permanently stuck on that part involving the already deceased Septimius.
Actually no u dont need to do the main quest for ogham infinium because anymore after my 1st playthrough about 10 yrs ago i go for ogham infinium right after leaving riverwood 1st time.Its easy when u know or look up septimus outpost location. Even then theres an easy glitch youll find on youtube to get u into the elder scroll chamber directly from the surface bypassing all falmer.
for anyone reading this now, when septimus died, I hadn’t even returned to delphine in riverwood. as long as you get the scroll, you will not get softlocked. if you only return with the cube/didnt do what the OG comment said he will die and you’ll be screwed. so dont let main story progression stop you, just get the elder scroll.
So can anybody please confirm that i'm good if i'm taking the elder scroll and not get softlocked? I want to do the deadric artifacts immediately from the beginning and i'm thinking if i should do it or not after reading this comment 😅
This helped an insane amount. Sadly i had to start a whole new play through for this achievement alone because i made the wrong choices on my achievement hunter character. Luckily that telekinesis glitch cut it down by about 30+ hours.
that glitch got me to level 100 in about 10 minutes. I got all the achievements, except this one and just went to an old save, did the telekinesis glitch and got the final achievement. saved me starting a whole character from scratch
I had the plat on the ps4 wait until you get a ps5 you can do it allll over again. 2 plat 1 game woohooo all I have left is the thieves guild and I’ll play this bad boy yet again
@@connorshaw1110 you get 1 platinum on the PS4 for Skyrim then you buy the ps5 and pop in Skyrim and it starts you at -0- trophies 🏆 you literally can get them all over again. It’ll list Skyrim as 2 separate games it’ll say Skyrim ps4 and Skyrim ps5 it’s beautiful.

Subscribed! Videos like this triggers the Completionist in me. You can keep both the Rueful Axe and the mask by placing the axe on a weapon rack in one of your homes first and then returning to the cave to get the mask. You can get both the Ring of Hircine and Savior's Hide by first getting the ring, completing the quest, storing the ring in a chest in the water near the entrance of the cave and then killing Hircine to get Savior's Hide. Then you can claim the ring from the chest again.
OMG thank you!! I killed eola by accident yesterday and then this trophy was my last for plat and I thought I’d have to do another whole play through to do all the daedric quests again but when you said about going back for the werewolf I tried it and got the hide and the trophy popped!!
@@Shiroishi_Hajime not worth it brother; if you have the anniversary addition and move into one of the houses; keep all the artifacts on your person don’t put them in dlc houses, if you uninstall the game later and redownload it you have to make sure the houses download as well otherwise it will wipe all the inventory and fuck you up
With clavicus vile you can get the axe and the mask by shooting not to kill Barny, exiting the dialogue before clavicus is done yapping, mounting the axe on a weapon rack before clavicus is done yapping, receive the mask, wait an hour then take the axe off the weapon rack and done✅
@@JadeOfEden no 15 of em... u can also according to wiki get the auriel bow. it somehow is flagged as a daedric weapon. and like one guy said u can get both the ring and hide.
I got Clavicus's axe instead of the mask, and I don't know which save out of my 200 + hours is the closest to that quest. On the bright side, I have a reason to reply the entire game again.
A decent guide, barring the fact that you should have emphasized WAY more about the fact that there are only 15 possible artifacts total & that if you're playing a save where you've missed out on even just one you will flat out be unable to get the achievement & will need to try a newer save or even a new game entirely. You can't mention crucial details like that in passing as they can more likely be overlooked. Especially for an achievement that's as drawn out and tedious as this one.

Leaving this out here just in case someone did the same thing I did Finished the sinding quest got the ring didn't get the hide,did not get the cursed skull thing because I chose to save the dude instead,had to go back for the hide and I accidentally killed sinding while I was passing through, couldn't skin him through the cell so I got a random wooden plate(you can find one inside the inn nearby) grab it and push it towards the cell(against the thin side of the cell)it should let you glitch through if it doesn't keep doing it until it does (it should let you go inside and skin him which should give you the armor) grab the plate again and this time do the same thing but against the wall and you'll glitch through the floor (move around to where the guards are, you'll be able to see them from below) let yourself fall and you'll respawn where the guards are therefore giving you the ring and the hide Please do not do this if you're still doing the quest as it will break it and it'll mess it up do it after and only if your situation was similar to mine Hope this helps :)
You can do the same method to get the ring in case it glitched for you, just reload save and do the same thing but he has to be in human form Don't override it tho be careful because it can break the quest
Can you use the Ogham infinium before you collect all the daedric artifacts because it disappears once you use it ? Will it still count towards the achievement
I’m late af but for anyone who watched this video and got all the artifacts but still didn’t get the achievement you actually need to get 16 (Saviors hide) just look up a video for that and you will get the achievement after you get the hide worked for me
one thing id like to add, some of these have level requirements. i found in another guide some things wont pop up until level 20 or 30. just figured id save some poor souls the headache if they ever stumble across this in the future.
You saved my life I need to get the dawn breaker and the stupid bacon spawned in the dark brother hood in dawn star and the chest it’s spouse to be in isn’t there anymore and since I’m on console I can’t get it
Half of the things stated in this are just...wrong. Not even like a slip of the tongue wrong, just flat out wrong. Like with Molag Bal's quest, you can kill the vigilant of standarr right away, completing the quest faster. Also for Hircine's quest, while the ring *is* glitched, it's actually glitched in our favor. You can get both the ring AND the hide, with both counting as separate artifacts, allowing you to get two artifacts for one quest.
Followed all the quests exactly and didn't pop on the GOTY version on 360. Since I was following the video I just killed Sinding for the Savior and didn't make a backup save to get the ring first and then kill him later. I'll have to redo 14 daedric quests again without really knowing what the mistake was, but I guess I deserve it for not making many manual saves.
Hey there, I have a question, do you just need to obtain them once and then they can leave your inventory and it counts? Or do you need them all in your inventory at once? And if you don't then does it work across separate saves? As in I could have 8 of them in one save but made different choices or simply didn't get it in the that one so I go and get the others in a different save. Would that count?
You don't have to have them all in your inventory at the same time, just have to pick them all up and obtain them at some point throughout your playthrough. It does all have to be with the same character though so you can't do it across multiple saves.
I've done 14/15 so far but it doesn't seem to let me do the one with Boethiah's Calling? Whenever I go there there are no npcs and the book doesn't seem to give me the quest either. Any idea of why? I'm at level 32 at the moment.
It is supremely frustrating that after all these years, remasters, special additions, anniversary additions , ports and such that Bethesda still can't get their shit together and fix this achievement! Something that requires so much effort on the part of the gamer should not be bugged. I just started a new play through. Anniversary Edition on X box Series X. I have 16 Deadric Artefacts overall because I got both the Ring of Hircine and the Hide and the achievement still did not pop.
I did the ebony blade glitch and cant get the ebony blade to finish the whispering quest, can i go on an old save and just do that quest to get the trophy or do i have to do them all over again?

@Janson0252 I also only went for the ones in the video. But I couldn’t get the masque of clavicus, volendrung, and like one other. So I made a separate game to get those ones, and it didn’t count. This is so annoying. I just want 100% so I can mess around with mods lol. It’s actually impossible for me, because the achievement “citizen” is glitched out so I can’t get it. To unlock it, you need to buy a horse. I’ve literally bought 2 and the game just won’t give it to me.
So in boethiahs calling the marker to lead somebody to get trapped and slain is off to the side of the pillar and anytime I slay a companion it simply doesn’t do anything I can’t load a save since I picked up the quest to do later and don’t really do hard saves that often please somebody let me know if there’s a way to fix this

If I kill Eola for the Namiras ring one, if I have 14 of 15 can I do Ring of Namira on another character and still get the trophy or do I have to do all the quests again
Am I somehow locked out of this achievement? I'm attempting Boethiah's calling and the tunnel is blocked. Yes, I cleared knife point ridge, before picking up the quest. That cave in didn't show up until after picking up the quest. Interestingly, a dragon appeared at killed the bandits for me, so stealth kills weren't an option. 😂
I have a game breaking bug in vanilla during "Daedric Artifact 7 -Mehrunes' Razor" that there is no quest item to loot in Drascua. Can somebody help? It is just "Empty" and there is a mark not over her body but right behind the table with the goat sacrificed.
I saved before getting the 15th artifact it didn't work in 4 tries but the 5 th trie it worked but i did restart my xbox make sure you do that if the achievement doesn't pop up not sure about playstation just do the same you should get just make sure you save before getting the last one or you have to do it again
Almost feels like maybe you have to get both the artifa vs from the one story line...only thing I can think to try and only lose about 3 hours worth of progress hopefully...ugh

I talked to the lady u said for the 12 one at the palace and nothing happens. She just talks like am I the guy going to sweep her away… is there some other way? And thanks for the others, this is all I got left.
I figured it out. Had to talk to a beggar in the streets outside the palace wondering around looking for his master, then go to the winking skeever, then do what u were saying.

Fun fact: getting both the ring of hircine, and saviors hide count towards the achievement. It counts thise as 2 separate daedric artifacts
ring is bugged to me , when i get hide as at say at end of video i get achievement

same here mate the last quest of the cannibals got glitched and i had to restart on a new save
that glitch got me to level 100 in about 10 minutes.
I got all the achievements, except this one and just went to an old save, did the telekinesis glitch and got the final achievement.

Yes that should still count. I used mine before I had gotten the last artifact for the achievement when I was doing my playthrough.

Half of the things stated in this are just...wrong. Not even like a slip of the tongue wrong, just flat out wrong. Like with Molag Bal's quest, you can kill the vigilant of standarr right away, completing the quest faster.
Also for Hircine's quest, while the ring *is* glitched, it's actually glitched in our favor. You can get both the ring AND the hide, with both counting as separate artifacts, allowing you to get two artifacts for one quest.
Followed all the quests exactly and didn't pop on the GOTY version on 360. Since I was following the video I just killed Sinding for the Savior and didn't make a backup save to get the ring first and then kill him later. I'll have to redo 14 daedric quests again without really knowing what the mistake was, but I guess I deserve it for not making many manual saves.

Hey there, I have a question, do you just need to obtain them once and then they can leave your inventory and it counts?
Or do you need them all in your inventory at once? And if you don't then does it work across separate saves? As in
I could have 8 of them in one save but made different choices or simply didn't get it in the that one so I go and get the others in a different save.
Would that count?
You don't have to have them all in your inventory at the same time, just have to pick them all up and obtain them at some point throughout your playthrough. It does all have to be with the same character though so you can't do it across multiple saves.
Maybe consider doing it based off level requirement next time

I've done 14/15 so far but it doesn't seem to let me do the one with Boethiah's Calling? Whenever I go there there are no npcs and the book doesn't seem to give me the quest either. Any idea of why? I'm at level 32 at the moment.
If you read the Oghma Infinium twice you will destroy it, therefore fail the quest if you didn't get two artifacts from Hircine.

It is supremely frustrating that after all these years, remasters, special additions, anniversary additions , ports and such that Bethesda still can't get their shit together and fix this achievement! Something that requires so much effort on the part of the gamer should not be bugged. I just started a new play through. Anniversary Edition on X box Series X. I have 16 Deadric Artefacts overall because I got both the Ring of Hircine and the Hide and the achievement still did not pop.

@Janson0252 bruh I literally made an entire new game to get the other ones I missed, but it still didn’t give me the achievement. Do I need to get every single one in 1 game only? Cuz if so, I might just give up on this one.
@Janson0252 I also only went for the ones in the video. But I couldn’t get the masque of clavicus, volendrung, and like one other. So I made a separate game to get those ones, and it didn’t count. This is so annoying. I just want 100% so I can mess around with mods lol. It’s actually impossible for me, because the achievement “citizen” is glitched out so I can’t get it. To unlock it, you need to buy a horse. I’ve literally bought 2 and the game just won’t give it to me.

So in boethiahs calling the marker to lead somebody to get trapped and slain is off to the side of the pillar and anytime I slay a companion it simply doesn’t do anything I can’t load a save since I picked up the quest to do later and don’t really do hard saves that often please somebody let me know if there’s a way to fix this

If I kill Eola for the Namiras ring one, if I have 14 of 15 can I do Ring of Namira on another character and still get the trophy or do I have to do all the quests again
Am I somehow locked out of this achievement? I'm attempting Boethiah's calling and the tunnel is blocked. Yes, I cleared knife point ridge, before picking up the quest. That cave in didn't show up until after picking up the quest. Interestingly, a dragon appeared at killed the bandits for me, so stealth kills weren't an option. 😂

I have a game breaking bug in vanilla during "Daedric Artifact 7 -Mehrunes' Razor" that there is no quest item to loot in Drascua. Can somebody help? It is just "Empty" and there is a mark not over her body but right behind the table with the goat sacrificed.
I saved before getting the 15th artifact it didn't work in 4 tries but the 5 th trie it worked but i did restart my xbox make sure you do that if the achievement doesn't pop up not sure about playstation just do the same you should get just make sure you save before getting the last one or you have to do it again
Alot of my achievements are broken so I save just before I unlock them never had this problem on Xbox 360 if it did it was rare

Can anybody please confirm that i'm good if i'm taking the elder scroll for Ogham Infinium and not get softlocked when doing it first before the elder knowledge main story step? I talked to the lady u said for the 12 one at the palace and nothing happens. She just talks like am I the guy going to sweep her away… is there some other way? And thanks for the others, this is all I got left.
I figured it out. Had to talk to a beggar in the streets outside the palace wondering around looking for his master, then go to the winking skeever, then do what u were saying.
