Bill & Amy, I don’t get why folks make ride videos with no commentary. I know the DC area but may not recognize where you are and what you’re seeing (e.g., I’ve never ridden the Capital Crescent Trail [another of your videos]). For those who don’t know the DC area, they, I assume, would like to know where you are, etc. you’re already putting a good effort into recording your rides so why not add some narrative. Not meant to be a negative criticism but rather a suggestion of how I believe you could improve your videos.
We LOVE that idea. We honestly never thought of it because we didn't think anybody else would ever watch these videos. We just planned to watch them on the big tv if/when we are no longer able to ride. We have dozens of videos with zero views. But suddenly this year a few people are watching. My husband will be enjoy describing the trails and the turns. Thank you!
Great, Amy. I think it would help. We moved to Lynchburg 22 years ago. As I’m getting back into cycling again with an e-bike (Lynchburg is called the “Hill City” for a reason!), I’m searching for trails to ride and very envious of you all in DC area with the increased number of separated bike trails you now have compared to 2002!
@@BillBooz I hope you find something you like. We love our bike trails and we hope to retire in this area for that reason. We are anxiously waiting for the completion of the purple line and accompanying Crescent trail project. We've been doing detours with the Bethesda trail for several years now. Hopefully, the new Crescent trail will be rideable in 2026.
