I would like to confirm, said subscriber is extremally excited, linking video to friends and tracking package, with enough page refreshing to take down entire Spanish postal system.
Sir, I would’ve taken off all of those large radial caps, wires, and replaced them with SMD caps. That first attempt at fixing it, was a horrible cluster_ and imminent danger⚠️ !!
I love repair channels but I have to provide a bit of honest feedback. Your vocal style is very off putting for me. Sounds so forced and unnatural like those viral Russian TH-cam nature channels with the same weird vocal style. Just some feedback from a fellow retro repair enthusiast. I’d enjoy the videos more if the narration was more chill. Macho Nacho is a good example.

"enough page refreshing to take down the entire spanish postal system"🤣🤣🤣
That's a great job you've done there, it's extended that Nomad's life for another 25 years!
Those lcd driver boards are known to fail prematurely, and im not 100% on that epoxy.
Itll be around another 25 years for sure
Very nice tip of repairing screw posts with epoxy!
Love the flux pen trick, and rebuilding the screw post threads with JB weld is great too.
Glad you liked it. Hope itll help in one of your future repairs!

If i had the smds on hand, i would have. Great comment!
Hello i have followed screen repair exactly but when I power on it shows a blank white screen is this a capacitor issue ??
id check if your component cable is on the correct test pad. Its obvious your power and ground are working.
@@retro-af thank you I will look into it 👍
Hello! greating from argentina. Amazing video, i sucribed to your channel.
Welcome!
Ill be releasing videos again soon!
I have a sega nomad that has a blue screen and doesn’t load games any ideas
it doesnt play games at all? no sound?
if thats the case id suspect a bad capacitor.
make sure to use an ohm meter!
@@retro-af yeah screen comes on and is blue
@@barrygonzales6785 screen color isnt important. It playing a game you can hear is.
The screen may still be good.
@@barrygonzales6785 does sound play from a game?

love it 🤣🤣🤣
It's all a matter of personal preference, Macho Nacho was not doing it for me at all. I like how Retro-AF reminded me of Project Farm's narration.
