More than likely it means there's a leak in the radiator or hoses, look for coolant leaks/ puddles to trace to the location of the problem, hissing means its releasing pressure of some sort
if its in the summer and you live in the southern states, it really doesn't make a lot of difference. The issue is fixing it by the time the temperature starts cooling down
