Read this book, got me out of myself spiraling out from my surrounding, I also read it twice.
It’s free on youtube as audiobook.

It's all about ego, the ego in western world is so preponderant, like we desperately need to say something, to be something, to achieve something, forgetting to just be, and not project on others our ego.

by the grace of ALLAH THE ONE AND ONLY GOD. OUR PURPOSE HERE ON EARTH IS : To Pray to the One and Only God ALLAH , Jesus is a servant and prophet of ALLAH, ALLAH IS THE ONE AND ONLY GOD, and Jesus is a prophet just like all other prophets (Moses, David, Noah, Jacob, Muhammad, etc...) . THERE IS ONE AND ONLY GOD : ALLAH , AND HE HAS NO COMPANIONS ,NO SONS, HE IS DIVINE !!!Don't allow yourselves to talk this disrespectfully about GOD . Jesus is a servant and prophet of ALLAH , he was born without a father just like Adam was created without parents. It was one of his miracles . The first thing he said in the craddle is : { (19:30) The child cried out: "Verily I am Allah's servant. He has granted me the Book and has made me a Prophet (19:31) and has blessed me wherever I might be and has enjoined upon me Prayer and Zakah (purifying alms) as long as I live; (19:32) and has made me dutiful to my mother. He has not made me oppressive, nor bereft of God's blessings. (19:33) Peace be upon me the day I was born and the day I will die, and the day I will be raised up alive." (19:34) This is Jesus, the son of Mary; and this is the truth about him concerning which they are in doubt. (19:35) It does not befit Allah to take for Himself a son. Glory be to Him! When He decrees a thing He only says: "Be" and it is. (19:36) (Jesus had said): "Indeed Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so serve Him alone. This is the Straight Way." } Don't let the mecreants who falsified the original Bible mislead you into falsehood and lead you in hell with them. Look up Dr.Zakir Nayk about the subject, he has learned the original Bible by heart, see the truth with your own eyes unstead of believing some mecreants who's destiny in the hereafter is HELL

And as we strive to "be someone" and idolize prominent figures, we gradually erase the value of countless others throughout history who simply lived. It's truly sad.

The thing you understand as you communicate with people is - very rarely will you change their way of thinking or mode of operation through being overbearing and interrupting their 'tasks'.
People are largely stubborn and it takes too much energy enciting them for change.

I read it half first and took an year break to realise that all whats said in that book and the philosophy shared is so practical and the a very positive perspective of life .
What i could conclude was that its our choice whether we want to be liked , disliked or happy or unhappy .
Happiness is a choice . If you are sad in maximum cases it means you want yourself to be sad , and want yourself to feel like victim and play the blame game onto life cuz its feels quite easy and non judgemental to do that ... But positive is somewhat beyond all this stuff and thats what this japanese philosophy book was about !
    Long comment gotta say !

It is great of you to reflect on your past behaviour and change the bad stuff.
If someone texted me a million times and I don't answer for whatever reason, it just tells me, that they are very impatient and they don't think before texting. I'm gonna avoid them, but I tell them that.
A good advice for situations like that is: did the recipient read the message at all? If not, don't text until they answer.

Been going thru this, detaching from the narcissists in my life and trying to create a life that I actually like, you put into words something I knew to be true, but because I was brought up to feel shameful for having basic human needs, its been difficult to fully embody. I really appreciate the way you've described this philosophy, I will definitely read the book.

I wish people would stop looking at it like that.
I give advice because i want to help.
If they assign a hierarchy off that then that's their own issue.
If someone wants to disregard my advice completely that's fine, hell even tell me why it wouldn't work for you. That's okay too.
    But don't assume my intentions.
And if you want to know my intentions just ask.
    5:19
For me conforming is the same as death.
Issue is that i am pressured to conform so that i can make money to live.
I'd be fine never having a job and making stuff for fun all my life but eventually I'd starve.
So I'm not sure what to do with any of it anymore.
I can't live the way they want but if i don't i won't live at all.

Great job, summarizing one part of this excellent book, it's a good formula. Since you love unsolicited advice: If you haven't run into it yet, you might also be interested in Integral Theory and AQAL, by Ken Wilber, particularly the quadrants. They are another form of task separation but instead draw the notion of subjective vs objective aspects and individual vs collective into a four box matrix. When you introduce another, you just duplicate the individual areas, one set for each participant. This results in considering what our own minds, behaviors, our culture and our physical environment contribute to any given interaction and offer a nice tool for reflection or prediction.

Thing about unsolicited advice, is that 99.3% of the time, the things you want to say that could actually make a difference and could be incresibly relevant won’t ever be solicited, and the pre disposition to them is rarely an open minded receptivity.
I mean, if we only spoke when someone asked our opinions on something, how quiet would you be throughout your life?
