The real life Charlotte died before George, and he didn’t even know because he was completely deaf and blind by then. So I’m glad they ended it where they did 😭
I'm so curious about Charlotte and George entire story in the Bridgerton universe that will come out soon in the book ❤❤❤ I wonder how will be their "ending" 😢😢
Someone pointed this out on TikTok, and I never noticed till now that everybody else has moved onto the regency era and the style of clothing and everything, but queen Charlotte is the only one who’s still wearing the Georgian era style and clothes so George can recognize her easier it makes what Brimsley said about her daughters because she’s frozen in Time she still his queen and also we need to know what happened to Reynolds because thats is sad too because if he dies that means he’s gone and never coming back also he was George’s best friend and I feel even sadder for George his best friend is dead too possibly
There was a scene that was cut (it wasn't even filmed, but it was in the script) where old Brimsley meets old Reynolds. They're not together because of the times, but they nod to each other and smile. I'm sad that this was cut, BUT at least they're both alive. Now I really wanna see them together in Bridgerton.
@@kayajamae2092 Also, I'm curious to see how much this show will impact future seasons of Bridgerton. In season 3, we should have the queen dying, Violet maybe finding someone new, the birth of Queen Victoria and MAYBE Reynolds and Brimsley. I thought they would try to not refere *this* show that much, but it's kind of impossible.
The way I cried with you. "You didn’t go over the wall.", "No, George, I did not go over the wall." BAWLING😭 I was FUMING everytime the doctor was on screen!! It broke my heart whenever George got tortured. Honestly this entire series broke my heart. One of the best shows netfix has ever produced!!❤😢 The "I'll stand with you between the heavens and the earth..." and "...My heart calls you name." are my absolute favorite quotes of the show!!❤ ALSO did you notice the dance between Kate and Anthony in the last episode was the same as the dance between Charlotte and George?? I saw this theory that Charlotte approved and smiled when Kate and Anthony danced because it reminded her of her and George🥺😭❤️
The ending scene and they look and see the younger versions of the other because that’s how they always see each other, beautiful and heartbreaking all at once. Also I went down a rabbit hole on Wikipedia and made myself sad, historical information below…. So King George actually outlived Queen Charlotte by about two years. She died in 1818 and the Regency Era story takes place in 1817. Meaning the next season of Bridgerton (or if this gets a season 2) we may see Queen Charlotte die and then we’ll have to see a scene where George asks where she is and someone, probably Brimsley, telling him she died. I can already feel my heart breaking.
@@janetgriffin7779 it was and they could still touch on George and Charlotte’s life through other Bridgerton spinoffs. But I’ve already mentally written the scene when George finds out about Charlotte’s death and if it actually happens the way I’ve imagined it tissue stock will skyrocket. The final shot of him finding out is the camera panning out, showing only his feet sticking out from under the bed and George sobbing and muttering that she, “went over the wall.” Tell me that wouldn’t break your heart
I honestly don't think they're going to stick to that part of history at least not the dates. There is no way Shonda Rhimes is going to kill off the iconic Queen Charlotte (especially after this spinoff) before Bridgerton last season. The show has already been renewed for a 4th season & Bridgerton without Golda or the actress that plays Lady Danbury wouldn't work as well.
@janetgriffin7779 I mean I didn't love that they almost definitely wrote it in just for this, if you don't love your racist wife then leave her or at least be honest, but honestly she's fine after all she's been through though I would have preferred if he were just a helpful friend
I’ve literally never really felt an actual emotion in Bridgerton except like silly enjoyment until this show and that final scene hit me like a ton of bricks and made me sob
SAMEEE. I always saw this show and got like 'oh!!! cute period show let me watch" and then the Brimsly scene came and then this one soon after and I was wrecked, man
In real life, Charlotte actually died before George and he never knew because he was too far gone by that point. The ending was so bittersweet because we've seen the lengths George would go to just to be mentally stable enough to be with Charlotte only for him to be that way in the main storyline and at the end. "You did not go over the wall." "No, George. I did not." has had me crying for 3 days
This is the BEST Bridgerton series IMO where both male and female protagonist are fully realized and relatable characters that I’ve never rooted harder for to have a happy ending! From the moment they met their chemistry was undeniable and I felt so badly when both were isolated alone and miserable thinking they were less than. When they met under the bed in the end I lost it…. Such a beautifully written epic love story. This series also made me love Lady Danberry even more. Im going to rewatch all over again I just need a box of tissues lol
I WEPT at the last scene. True unconditional love and devotion. The complex emotions this show communicated made it my fave of all Bridgerton seasons so far (and I ADORED S2). Such a beautiful yet devastating ending.
Not me crying while watching the last scene and then crying AGAIN watching a reaction of the last scene oh my god 😭 Also I’m convinced that Reynolds has to stay with the king at Kew while brimsley has to be with the queen. So they can only really see each other whenever the queen visits the king, hence why he’s alone and sad, but I will not accept that he’s dead like absolutely not haha
After that final scene I’m suing Shonda Rhimes for emotional distress 😭 “You didn’t go over the wall” broke me. So much about their story was tragic, but the love they shared was beautiful. Also the reason she couldn’t ride in the carriage with George was briefly mentioned in an earlier episode. It’s to protect the line of succession so that if something happens to George’s carriage his heir is still safe or vice versa.
Because they are stuck in time together they see each other as their youngselves which is so beautiful, at least that's my thought.. at least now no one can question the king and queens love for they are always one💜
Who knew that when they released that sneak peek with her trying to attempt climbing the wall and he catching her and telling her that he’s not helping her climb the wall, that that first meeting would so be the definition of or the inference for their dedication to each other. It came full circle! My God Shonda Rhimes is a gifted storyteller. I was thoroughly impressed by the beauty of this movie!
I was already crying happy tears watching them dance. That cut to him dancing alone absolutely destroyed me. I had to pause and cried for a solid 20 minutes. That was just too much.
I broke down so many times in this episode, from Brimsley dancing on his own to the scene under the bed. This show was fantastic by far the best of any of the bridgerton seasons
That last scene absolutely wrecked me and my whole perception of life. This is truly the most heartbreaking and beautiful love story to me. Shonda’s writing is legendary in my eyes. ❤😭
The ending scenes were bombarding me with tears. I had to stop every 5 mins to catch my breath and then they just kept punching me with heartbreaking scenes!!
This is now my fav Bridgerton. It is definitely in a bittersweet way but I always appreciate when a story touches me on a deeper level. That last scene took us ALL out so you are not alone
You not being able to form sentences bc of the tears is LITERALLY me when i watched this show. and the problem is, the more i think about it the more i cry....
This is hands down the best season of this series. My god! Queen Charlotte is my hero now! Agatha and Violet are simply wonderful. I cried and cried during this show and I ugly cried when Charlotte and George were dancing to “I Will Always Love You” and then sobbed when Charlotte and George were laying under the bed at the end. This is a beautiful story and the acting was perfection. I really enjoyed your reaction and commentary sweetie. Well done!
What a beautiful reaction to a heartbreakingly beautiful love story. Anyone who doesn't shed a tear during that last scene under the bed is dead inside. 😭😭😭 The real King George lived to 81yrs old...his Queen actually died before him. And the son who tells Queen Charlotte that they are pregnant...his wife was actually pregnant with the future Queen Victoria (the late Queen Elizabeth II's great great great grandmother) so George and Charlotte's line still lives on today. 💖💖💖
I WAS SOBBING WITH PAIN MY HEART SHATTERED THIS SHOW HAS MADE ME SEE A SIDE TO MYSELF I NEVER KNEW I HAD I WANT TO FALL IN LOVE BUT IM SCARED THIS WILL HAPPEN AND IT WILL BREAK MY HEART
beautiful authentic reaction. I didn't think Shonda could top Kate and Anthony who I thought were perfection but this Charlotte and George love story is one for books! It gave me all the feels....
The last scene, when only their feet peeked out from under the bed... ❤ It teared me up just thinking about it. They are and they will be my forever favorite couple from the Bridgerton series. ❤
I think they said that in real life king George never wanted Charlotte to be apart of parliament or politics in general; so she couldnt go with him, thats why she suggested the ball or gala so she could politely be next to him the whole night❤
One of the most tragic things about Charlotte finding out her son and his wife are going to have a baby means that that baby is princess Victoria. The real queen Charlotte died of pneumonia mere months after she found out that Victoria had been conceived. If Shondaland intends to keep her story historically accurate season 3 of bridgerton could be very very tragic.
But also, maybe Charlotte's death finally frees Brimsley and Reynolds and they could move to a farm and live together? I know it probably won't happen but I really want to see them together in Bridgerton
Oh, your reaction is so honest! Bc... same. I cried too. I was glad to hear you speak briefly on how Kings made child birth impractical by laying their wife out and how it still persists to this day. Also, fun fact, Prince Edward's wife is pregnant with the ONLY heir Charlotte will ever get. That baby will one day be Queen Victoria. After George IV dies, well after his father and mother, Victoria comes to the throne at 18 and rules right into the beginning of the 20th century. So even though Charlotte only got one official grandchild, she would be the most important grandchild that would make her grandmother proud.
I'm sorry, but I wanted to correct that information- Queen Victoria was not the only grandchild of George and Charlotte's to survive- she was simply the eldest. There was also George the V of Hanover, Prince George, Duke of Cambridge, Princes Augusta of Cambridge, and Princess Mary Adelaide of Cambridge. All of them had children of their own as well. interestingly enough, George the V of Hanover was actually born just 3 days after Victoria.
The reason why in the end they didnt go for king george dying is beacause in the real story queen charlotte died first and thats so sad because he lost his venus😭😭
being unable to hold it together right after finishing the show is so real. its so hard to talk about I still tear up when I think about it for too long

The way that ending had me BAWLING. I was crying like a baby when I was watching it. Their love story is so incredibly beautiful. I just love how devoted they are to each other. It’s on a whole different level than the other Bridgerton couples we’ve seen. Loved episode four where we see George and the lengths he’s going to to cure himself and why he was behaving the way he was.
I’m so glad everyone enjoyed this I haven’t seen one bad review. The tears never left my eyes the last episode I was literally sobbing so hard, and I still sob when I re watch it nothing could’ve prepared me for this even though I already knew king George wasn’t going to have a happy ending I still hoped we would see more of them together…. I’m still so sad 🥹🫶🏾
This series was SO FREAKING GOOD. Best Bridgerton Season BY FAR. And watching it a 2nd time through with your commentary/reactions gave me ALL THE FEELS all over again. I was yelling and crying right there with you. Thank You!
I loved it! I didn't think of it as sad. I think about how much they loved each other. I think about what Charlotte endured to be with him and how he was able to fight his fear and illness to be with her even though it was for limited pieces of time. The whole Bridgerton universe brings me so much joy and I can (and probably will) watch each story over and over again.
You know what's really sad? That she died before him. She was the only one left who could still reach beyond his illness. After her death, he was all alone.
Girl I was right there with you during that ending scene. Completely BROKE me!! Their love is so beautiful and no one understands their relationship but them! They are such a perfect match because they understand each other and are still the people they were when they first met. I didn’t think I’d become so invested with only six episodes but now I’m definitely hoping for a season two!
I saw the ending this morning and was bawling. I started watching your reaction thinking i was brave enough to not cry again but nope i was a blubbering mess again 😭

The scene where Reynolds delivers the letter to the torture chamber and a broken King George appears at the door broke my heart. The end had me in full tears. It is heartbreaking.
I enjoyed your reactions a lot and I cried again with you this story for me is the best in Bridgerton series like I cried and laughed felt all emotions with their story such an amazing performance by all actors and actresses I wish we had more episodes ❤ ❤ 😭😭.
that final scene is beautiful and heartbreaking, but the line that always gets me is young Charlotte saying "I will stand between the heavens and the earth with you, I will tell you where you are" idk why i just always cry when she says that
I watched this whole season in day and I think I have dehydration from how much I've cried today. Watched the last episode and HAD to search for reactions to know I wasn't alone. As someone with similar mental health issues as the king, this hit me so hard. The way that there is still seemingly no cure and very little understanding and support still to this day. It really shocked me how closely his story matched mine so far in the future (minus the literal torture he and many others have been put through to "help"). I just relate to everything he was feeling, I barely live a life, I'm in complete isolation because I can't bare the thought of hurting someone else through my pain, the uncontrollable guilt I feel on a daily basis is already almost too much to bare. This show covered this topic so beautifully and accurately. It's broken me today.
You saying you can't re-watch this it's my 4th time re-watching this series with different reactors. It got my deep. I haven't even seen the original so I am invested invested
I won’t lie I’ve eaten my words immediately after filming the finale because EVERY single time a scene pops up on my Twitter, I watch it and sob all over again😭
Haven't watched this video yet. I'm trying to prepare myself for Reynolds and Brimsley dancing and the last scene. Two moments where I cried so much that I almost couldn't breathe
I think this hits well because its not tragic. it was a life full of hardship and difficulty - but never regret. "You did not go over the wall / I did not go over the wall" - was George asking if Charlotte had any regrets to their life together, and charlotte saying no
"Wow, I am completely shattered after that finale. 😭 The raw emotions and character developments were so beautifully portrayed. Queen Charlotte's journey really hit home for me; I felt every moment. 💔 Can't believe it’s over! What a stunning series. 💖 #QueenCharlotte"
i rarely cry over tv shows - i get emotional and a little teary eyed, but rarely full on sobbing. bridgerton itself is a silly lil period drama that i enjoy, but it's never made me cry or made me that emotional - stranger things, moon knight, end game, and now this are some of the few pieces of media that i can think of that have left me with tears rolling down my face and heaving sobs, and it's rather impressive that they managed to make us feel attached to these characters in such a short space of time. it's a testament to both the writers and the chemistry between all the actors.
That last scene was CRIMINAL!!! I cried so much?!!😭
I cried so much whewww this whole episode had me in tears fr
And they has the audacity to use I will always love you as background music. I ugly cried so much
Omg I couldn't stop this show needs to give us therapy after such a cute moment also sad. I love them

All the instances of "Hello, Charlotte," esp the very first time, always gets me ❤
I’m so glad everyone enjoyed this I haven’t seen one bad review.
Thank You!
How dare they make us cry like this
After her death, he was all alone.
the last scene was too much, too beautiful, too sad, too bittersweet, it's perfect way to end ♥️
This was the sweetest love story. The end got me. 😭😍
Shonda Rhimes and her team does not care about the emotional damage they cause.
ughh bridgerton series make me feel SOOO SINGLE, like where are the men like them????!!!
In books 💀
Girl! I cried that much too!! The scenes destroyed me!!! Bravo to everyone who was involved in this series!!!! ❤💯🥰
This is THE BEST reaction video on Queen Charlotte I’ve seen thus far. 👏🏼❤
Fellow cebuana here. I stalked your IG after watching your queen charlotte videos cause i love the series and i am rewatching it through reactions. I so love your reactions, your makeup, outfit and your accent. Just clicked subscribed!
QUEEN CHARLOTTE SAVED HER GEORGE JUST IN TIME 😢❤
The final scene really hits home. This series was very tastefully done. I have to agree with many that this prequel is at the top
The scene where Reynolds delivers the letter to the torture chamber and a broken King George appears at the door broke my heart. The end had me in full tears. It is heartbreaking.
Ughhh sooo many tears. Idk how many times I gotta say it buuuut…best bridgerton show to date.
We all need therapy after that. How can we recover emotionally?!!!!
This may be Shondaland gently pushing us to all get therapy 🎉😊❤
I enjoyed your reactions a lot and I cried again with you this story for me is the best in Bridgerton series like I cried and laughed felt all emotions with their story such an amazing performance by all actors and actresses I wish we had more episodes ❤ ❤ 😭😭.
It was a beautiful but heartbreaking 💔 love story. I related personally in many ways. 😢
The best Shonda/Bridgerton show to date! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thing is Princess Augusta wants to talk to George about Agatha’s title and Charlotte is unknowingly preventing it
that final scene is beautiful and heartbreaking, but the line that always gets me is young Charlotte saying "I will stand between the heavens and the earth with you, I will tell you where you are"
idk why i just always cry when she says that
The final scene.. I cry again and again. It’s hurtful.
I love Lady Danbury and Queen Charlotte's friendship. #besties
The last scene broke me too! Great reaction. Another couple we love and are broken and sobbing at from Bridgerton! ❤😭
I loved your genuine reaction ❤ I was also a crying mess the last 2 episodes. Btw, I loooove the purple bodess type corset you're wearing!
Finally, I'm waiting whole day to see you react to these episodes
You held yourself together much better than I did lol, I was sobbing 😭😭😭
My eyes were BURNING from holding back the tears for so long but I failed on multiple occasions😭
All i've done all weekend is remember this story and cry. absolutely beautiful fairy tale
I think this hits well because its not tragic.
it was a life full of hardship and difficulty - but never regret.
"You did not go over the wall / I did not go over the wall" - was George asking if Charlotte had any regrets to their life together, and charlotte saying no
The way she said de are moving to Kew is perfect the same way the other Queen delivers her lines
It was so good she loves him with all her heart. I just love every moment. Great review🦋🤍
I was like y you cleaning up proper tears coming...lol
That ending was like the notebook in reverse. Where’s a tissue when you need one! 😭😭😭
Every time I watch episode 6 I too cry. Fantastic reaction ❤😊
I'm glad you didn't cry that much
I will crying watching the whole final episode from the starting to end💔
I think brimsly dancing by himself enphosezies that Reynolds is probably dead
There was a scene that was cut where they both meet when they're old, so I still hope he's not.
I REALLY LOVED THAT SCENE, CRIED SO MUCH 😭
"Wow, I am completely shattered after that finale. 😭 The raw emotions and character developments were so beautifully portrayed. Queen Charlotte's journey really hit home for me; I felt every moment. 💔 Can't believe it’s over! What a stunning series. 💖 #QueenCharlotte"
This whole show was giving things I was not prepared for. 😢 great show !
Just finished it yesterday. Cried like a baby can't lie.
I wonder if they'll continue this spin-off series? They certainly can tell more story. I enjoyed it and I love the characters.
I want to know about Viscount Bridgerton's relationship with her husbabnd
i rarely cry over tv shows - i get emotional and a little teary eyed, but rarely full on sobbing. bridgerton itself is a silly lil period drama that i enjoy, but it's never made me cry or made me that emotional - stranger things, moon knight, end game, and now this are some of the few pieces of media that i can think of that have left me with tears rolling down my face and heaving sobs, and it's rather impressive that they managed to make us feel attached to these characters in such a short space of time. it's a testament to both the writers and the chemistry between all the actors.
Not me sobbing watching this with you 😭😭😭
26:36 literally me thinking about this season 😂
Thank you for sharing. It’s such a joy to watch you and your reaction !
Girl you better sing!! Your voice is beautiful, also new sub 💜
Girl I just finished the show and I’m still crying 😭 this show broke me
This brainchild of THE FORCE that is Shonda Rhimes.
Writing extraordinaire.... ;)
THE BEST BRIDGERTON SERIES EVVVVVVVVVER!!!!!! ❤
The heir they are talking about would be Queen Victoria. One of the last powerful monarchs of the British empire.
I am not one to cry easily when it comes to TV series but the final episode made me into a waterfall
