The Strand was occasionally showing movies pre-pandemic. They would run "The Quiet Man" on St. Patrick's Day, and run horror films (Nightmare on Elm St.) on Halloween, etc. I hope they can get back to that soon...
CT Cult Classics still does double features there. Now that Entertainment Cinemas is gone it would be nice if they could show new movies. It's only one room, so I'm sure people in the area would go.
I remember when they first restored that theater back in the 90s, I believe. You could see second run movies for just a dollar and they were only open on the weekends. It was a pretty cool spot.
I dont understand why American citizens travel outside their country, when they have their own Heaven on their backyard.... like Conneticut its beautiful place to see🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hi Jennifer, I am considering a move from Long Island to Connecticut and could use some guidance with regards to the best towns for my needs. I am working with an amazing realtor but she is limited on what she can advise. I am considering Shelton, Seymour, Naugatuck, Stratford, Brookfield. If you have some time, I could really use some guidance. Thank you for your videos. They really help.
Hello! I actually live in Shelton now and used to live in Seymour. I chose Seymour when my children were small. Shelton is bigger. It has hotels, Walmart, shopping plazas, ALOT of medical buildings and nail salons. Naugatuck is similar to Seymour, historic small town. Don’t know much about it tho. Stratford is more of a city but has a beach which is nice. I don’t know anything about Brookfield. Seymour still feels like home to me tho.. ❤️ Hope this helps 😊

To see other cultures maybe? I don’t know I have never left the USA personally! Maybe one day now I’m just trying to see what’s in front of me :)
