Thanks for watching; in this video clip I am using the twist lock model; I am currently using the xtra wide gap by Daiichi & X-Point which are deadly when using soft palstics for Bass. Great hook up percentages.
Great video! I have a house on a lake of very high pressured waters and lots of jet-skis, tournaments, luxury/speed boats, etc, and this explained a lot! Also, what gear ratio reel would you suggest for this method of fishing, as well as the action of the rod?
To answer the question in the description, Yes I still watch shows filmed on lakes and ponds. Why? Well because here in Ohio a lot of the state records have been caught in farm ponds. Including the biggest large mouth, 13.13 lbs. So yeah I love asking and trying to fish private farm ponds.
Lots of people like them and buy them, but beauty is only skin deep, my Ardent reels have never let me down and have the best warranty in the business.
Hey man I really enjoy watching your bass fishing videos and I have a question. I live on a lake in south florida and it's about 3 acres all around it and its a muddy lake and the middle is about 30ft deep and I have tried Charlie worms and all I catch is small bass and so I upgraded and got some KVD sexy frogs and crank baits to see if their are any big bass in the lake and I haven't caught anything so I was just wondering if you can give me some tips on some lures to try for big bass thanks man please reply
@ Chris Rees not all Americans do that. I use a 5 foot 5 ugly stick with 6 lb florucarbon to catch the same size fish as this guy. its all in preferance I guess
it's funny all the people that claim flipping isn't a sporting way of fishing, try it stop whining and start actually catching fish don't be so stubborn it actually works
go to a lake where you know there are largemouth, get a fishing kayak or boat find some weeds or grass or even fish on a side of an empty dock and use plastics depending on the conditions, practice, practice, practice.
fishing in busy public water ways can be ok most times when you can find the fish ....... unless you get what I did today was jigging a section of a local river in about 2-2.5ft of water watched at least a 4 pounder nose down on my jig and I just knew if I shook it long enuf he wouldnt be able to resist it and as I start to shake it some guy on a pontoon boat pulls up right next to me to ask me how the fishing was ....... I couldnt believe the guy ..... of course spooked the best fish I saw all day ....... in all my years of fishing iv never seen or even heard of that happening to anyone....... was a little upset with the guy but I dont own the water so I had to be nice and just say it was not a good day
amazing videos.
thanks for watching; I like 3/8 to 1/2 oz in deeper water, and usually go with 1/8th to 3/16 in shallow water depending on what bait I am throwing.
Thanks for watching.
Enjoyed and liked, Karl.
+Paul Deknikker thanks for watching Paul

why do all the american bass anglers use way to heavy gear and just reel the fish in, thats no sport.
